Industrial Cellular Routers: Encouraging Communication in Isolated and Dangerous Settings
Traditional wired networks are no longer the only way to connect in the modern digital era. Robust, dependable, and secure communication solutions are essential for industries operating in distant or harsh areas in order to connect their vital assets and provide real-time data sharing. The industrial cellular router is a type of customized networking equipment that can be used in industrial environments where cable infrastructure may not be available or is impractical.
An Industrial Cellular Router: What Is It? A ruggedized networking device called an industrial cellular router uses cellular networks to provide wide-area connection for industrial applications. Industrial cellular routers use cellular technology (3G, 4G, and increasingly 5G) to transfer data wirelessly over great distances, in contrast to typical routers that depend on physical connections. They are designed especially to endure the harsh conditions found in industrial settings, such as high humidity, high temperatures, vibration, and electromagnetic interference.
Features and Functionalities: The following are some of the main features and functions of industrial cellular routers:
Wireless Connectivity: Reliable wireless communication is made possible by industrial cellular routers, which enable cellular network communication between industrial systems and equipment. They are compatible with multiple carriers and areas because they support a range of cellular standards and frequencies.
Secure Communication: Security is paramount in industrial applications, especially when transmitting sensitive data over public cellular networks. To secure data and defend against cyber threats, industrial cellular routers use virtual private networks (VPNs), firewalls, and sophisticated encryption techniques.
Remote Management: An administrator may monitor, configure, and troubleshoot devices from a central location with the help of several industrial cellular routers' remote management features. Industrial network implementation, maintenance, and optimization are made easier by this remote management feature.
Redundancy and Failover: Industrial cellular routers may provide redundancy and failover capabilities to guarantee constant connectivity and reduce downtime. In the event of a network outage or disturbance, they can immediately switch between the primary and backup cellular networks or use other communication channels.
Importance in Business Environments: Industrial cellular routers are essential in many different industrial domains, such as:
Oil and Gas: Industrial cellular routers provide for real-time monitoring of production processes, equipment health, and environmental conditions in remote oil and gas fields or offshore platforms. This promotes proactive maintenance and operational efficiency.
Utilities: Industrial cellular routers offer connectivity for remote monitoring, control, and optimization of essential infrastructure in utilities like water treatment plants, electrical substations, and renewable energy installations. This increases dependability and resilience.
Transportation and Logistics: By sending location data, sensor readings, and telemetry information over cellular networks, industrial cellular routers facilitate supply chain visibility, fleet management, and vehicle tracking in transportation and logistics operations.
Manufacturing: Machine-to-machine (M2M) communication in manufacturing facilities is supported by industrial cellular routers, which facilitate the smooth integration of robotic automation, inventory management systems, and production systems.
In summary: For enabling connectivity in remote, difficult, and mission-critical industrial environments, industrial cellular routers are essential equipment. Because of their capacity to deliver dependable, secure, and robust wireless communication, industries are able to maximize operations, maintain a competitive edge in an increasingly interconnected world, and reap the benefits of digital transformation. Organizations in a variety of industrial industries can improve efficiency, spur innovation, and close communication gaps by utilizing industrial cellular routers.

Astronomer zencart  s Discover the Brightest Quasar to Date in the Early Universe
www.inhandnetworks.com
Researchers have discovered the brightest quasar yet known, detected from the period when the universe’s star-making hydrogen gas became ionized, known as “reionization.”
The international research team found the quasar’s exceptional brightness to be caused by gravitational lensing, a phenomenon by which the gravity of objects closer to Earth acts as a magnifying glass to observe objects much farther away in space.
Quasars are the bright cores found in some galaxies, powered by supermassive black holes. Their brightness is believed to come from the hot material that falls into the black hole.
Remote Maintenance
“The detection of this peculiar source in the faraway universe is a major discovery for a surprising reason,” said Yale postdoctoral associate Fabio Pacucci, co-author of a study which will be published in The Astrophysical Journal Letters, as well as lead author of a follow-up paper on the theoretical implications of the discovery. “For decades we thought that lensed quasars should be very common in the faraway universe, but this is the first source of this kind that we have found.”
Pacucci and his colleagues said the super-bright quasar, catalogued as J043947.08+163415.7, could hold the record for being the brightest in the early universe for quite some time. It shines with light equivalent to 600 trillion suns and is located 12.8 billion light-years from Earth. As astronomers look farther into space in terms of distance, it allows th industrial internet of things  em to look farther back in time, closer to the time of the Big Bang.
The discovery was announced Jan. 9 during a press conference at the 233rd meeting of the American Astronomical Society in Seattle. The lead investigator is Xiaohui Fan, Regents’ Professor of Astronomy at the University of Arizona’s Steward Observatory.
“This detection gives us a clue about how to find a population of ‘phantom quasars,’” Pacucci said. “These sources are difficult to detect, as our observations are misled by the presence of the lensing object, in-between the faraway quasar and the Earth. If they do exist, ‘phantom quasars’ could revolutionize our idea of the most ancient history of the universe.”
The researchers made use of multiple Hawaii-based observatories in their work, including Gemini Observatory, the James Clerk Maxwell Telescope, United Kingdom Infra-Red Telescope (UKIRT), the W.M. Keck Observatory, and the Panoramic Survey Telescope and Rapid Response Sys 3g router tem (Pan-STARRS1).

ALMA Detects Two Planets in the Dust Disk Su edge gateway  rrounding Young Star HD 169142
www.inhandnetworks.com
This image depicts the dusty disc encircling the young, isolated sta Industrial 3G Router  r HD 169142. The Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array (ALMA) imaged this disc in high resolution by picking up faint signals from its constituent millimeter-sized dust grains. The vivid rings are thick bands of dust, separated by deep gaps.
Astronomers have detected the presence of two planets in formation around the young star HD 169142, which is about 470 light-years away. The two planets have masses comparable to that of Jupiter.
Optimized to study the cold gas and dust of systems like HD 169142, ALMA’s sharp eyes have revealed the structure of many infant solar systems with similar cavities and gaps. A variety of theories have been proposed to explain them — such as turbulence caused by magnetorotational instability, or the fusing of dust grains — but the most plausible explanation is that these pronounced gaps were carved out by giant protoplanets.
When solar systems form gas and dust coalesce into planets. These planets then effectively spring clean their orbits, clearing them of gas and dust and herding the remaining material into well-defined bands. The deep gaps seen in this image are consistent with the presence of multiple protoplanets — a finding that agrees with other optical and infrared studies of the same system.
Observing such dusty protoplanetary discs with ALMA allows scientists to investigate the first steps of planet formation in a bid to unveil the evolutionary paths of these infant systems.
INAF press release (Italian) Translated below
Thanks to detailed shots from the telescope Alma (Atacama Large Millimeter-submillimeter Array) ESO, an international team of researchers led by Davide Fedele, the Florence Institute of Astrophysics, has detected the presence odistribution line fault detectionf two planets in formation around the young star HD 169142, which is about 470 light years from us, and situated in the direction of the constellation Sagittarius. The two planets would masses comparable to that of Jupiter.
The high-resolution image of Alma shows the disk of dust around Hd 169142 obtained from the processing of weak signals emitted by the grains of the millimeter dimensions that constitute it. The bright rings indicate dense bands of dust separated by empty net. “The system we have observed with Alma is located around a star that has a mass of about 1.7 times that of the Sun and an age of just 6 million years,” says Fedele, first author of the paper describing the study, published on the website of the journal Astronomy & Astrophysics. “Alma has allowed us to derive the dust around this star distribution, showing a characteristic structure to ‘rings’: the cold powder is localized in two main rings, the first between 20 and 35 astronomical units and the second between 56 and 83 astronomical units from the central star (an astronomical unit is the distance separating the Earth from our Sun). The intermediate zones of this disc will appear substantially free of dust.”
Structures similar have already been detected by Alma around other stars and scientists have made several proposals to explain, as turbulence phenomena triggered by magneto-rotazionail instability or grains mergers of powders, but t M2M gateway  he most widely accepted is that those net voids have been produced by planets in large breed training. When planetary systems begin to comply, the gas and dust present around the young stars they are gathering to form protoplanets. These celestial objects ‘clean up’ areas crossing with their orbits and at the same time adjoin the remaining dust and gas in well defined bands. The empty areas in the image of Alma the system around Hd 169 142 are compatible with the presence of protoplanets, a fact which is in agreement with other surveys conducted in the bands of visible light and infrared on the same system.
“The study of dust and cold gas that make up the protoplanetary disks is crucial to understanding how planets are born,” adds Fedele. “In addition to dust, Alma has allowed us to study the distribution of cold gas through three molecular isotopes of carbon monoxide observations (CO), which allow us to understand what is the origin of the dust rings. Based on the fact the gas intensity maps and on the differences with those of the dust, we can conclude that the ring structure is due to the presence of two protoplanets orbiting at a distance of about 15 astronomical units and 50 astronomical units from the star. For the inner planet we estimated a mass of between 0.1 and one Jupiter mass, while the outer planet the estimate is between one and ten Jupiter masses. Alma has therefore surprised us again, revealing an even planetary system during gestation.”

The difference between industrial routers and home routers
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The industrial cellular router is a wireless communication router for the Internet of Things, which uses the public wireless cellular network to provide users with wireless long-distance data transmission functions. It has been widely used in various fields of M2M in the entire industry chain of IoT technology, such as smart energy, smart transportation, smart home systems, financial services, mobile POS terminals, supply chain management automation, industrial control automation, smart buildings, fire safety, and public safety , Ecological and environmental protection, meteorology, digital medical treatment, remote sensing technology survey, agriculture and animal husbandry, forestry, water affairs, coal industry, petrochemical industry and other fields.
Tumblr media
The difference between industrial routers and home routers: 1.Product stability The high stability performance requirements of different industrial routers are difficult to achieve for general household routers. They need to work without problems for a long time without being on duty, and they can be repaired by themselves when the network fails. However, general home routers cannot achieve long-term working conditions, especially in bad weather, the general home routers that have long-term uninterrupted power off are also prone to network outages. Generally, it is prone to malfunction during a period of operation. 2.Product design is suitable for long-term use: under normal circumstances, when using a router, it will not be used for too long, the difference between an industrial router and a home router. So the router will have a lot of time to "rest". However, industrial-grade routers are different when they use routers. Due to work needs, most of the time they even need routers to run 24 hours a day. The difference between industrial-grade routers and home routers. This puts forward higher requirements for the industrial design of the router.
Tumblr media
3.The operating temperature requirements of industrial routers with different operating temperatures are actually requirements for electronic components. Industrial routers usually operate in the temperature range of -30 to 70, while ordinary home routers operate in the range of 0 to 40. Normally, room temperature can meet the needs, so they cannot be used in harsh industrial control environments. . Even in general outdoor public areas, in winter Insatiable.
Tumblr media
4. Different industrial-grade wireless routers with different product functions are used in the field of industrial control, and the required functions are more powerful. Not only requires large bandwidth and fast response, but also requires basic functions such as port mapping, VPN, watchdog, stronger firewall, and electrostatic induction protection, while ordinary home routers only need to ensure the network function. It can be seen from the above that if a company chooses a home router because of budget savings, it will lead to many situations, such as Trojan horse viruses and network hackers; the network is often interrupted; it is very easy to fail to find the signal; the router often sends It is too hot to use for a long time, etc. Therefore, apart from the difference in price, there is still a big gap between industrial-grade wireless routers and ordinary home routers.
Tumblr media
5. High forwarding performance, high bandwidth: most of the general industrial-grade routers are used for data transmission and other functions, the difference between industrial-grade routers and home routers. There are hundreds of them. If you want to meet the wireless Internet needs of so many people at the same time, you have high requirements for the router's forwarding performance and capacity. The low density of home routers is the difference between industrial routers and home routers. The signal strength is small, the coverage area is small, and the forwarding performance and the amount of bandwidth are limited. 6. Suitable for industrial-grade functional positioning: Compared with home routers, the difference between industrial-grade routers and home routers. Industrial-grade routers have superior performance in this respect, and can satisfy more people with high-speed Internet access. Most industrial-grade routers use high-frequency network dedicated processors, with strong data processing capabilities, longer transmission distances, larger coverage areas, and the difference between industrial-grade routers and home routers. It can greatly improve the transmission speed and throughput of the network, and run 7. Rich routing protocols: Industrial-grade routers generally have multiple security services, and have richer routing protocols, such as SNMP, static routers, policy routers, and unified management protocols And so on, the difference between industrial routers and home routers. Through these protocols, industrial-grade routers can ensure the safe operation of the network and protect user data from being stolen. Read the full article

Enterprise Routers Market Sector Analysis Report, Regional Outlook & Competitive Share & Forecast, – 2025
The enterprise routers market is poised to grow at a CAGR of 6.2% during the forecast period from 2020 to 2025. Enterprise routers are vital products that any business or enterprise uses regularly. They play an essential role in enterprises in connecting computer networks and the internet. Routers perform many functionalities, such as enterprise routing, which gives businesses a higher CPU capacity to control place tasks. Furthermore, it provides companies the ability to enhance their interface for both Ethernet and WAN circuits, run NetFlow/sFlow, MPLS, QoS, and other security features. It has functions to integrate deep packet inspection and WAN acceleration. Enterprise routers assist in maximizing productivity in the office, and the installation of an enterprise router requires the skills and expertise of an engineer. - In the first quarter of 2019, the enterprise and service provider router market grew 8.2%. The service provider segment accounts for 75.3% of router market revenues. The service provider router market rose 7.1%, and the enterprise router market grew 11.9%. The top seven enterprise routers which had high market share till June 2019 were Cisco (55.7%), Huawei (9.3%), HPE (5.3%), Nokia (3.7%), Juniper (3.6%), Netgear (2%), Dell EMC (1.7%). Cisco Systems is one of the top networking companies in the world with the highest market share providing a wide variety of enterprise routers. Cisco's enterprise router revenue rose 16.1%, and Cisco's SP and enterprise router market share increased to 42.4% from 37.4% in the first quarter, according to telecom lead.
Click Here to Download Sample Report >>  https://www.sdki.jp/sample-request-90107 - Huawei's Global Industry Vision (GIV) predicts that by 2025, 85% of enterprise applications will be moved to the cloud, resulting in significant traffic growth at the egress of enterprise WANs. Traditional private lines offer several Mbit/s bandwidth and are prone to network congestion, and so service experience cannot be guaranteed. Leveraging flexible and efficient application-based traffic steering, Software-Defined WAN (SD-WAN) is the best choice for enterprise WAN interconnection in the cloud era, as it can effectively ensure customer service experience. However, when traditional enterprise routers intersect with SD-WAN, their forwarding performance decreases by about 80% on average. In response, Huawei launched next-generation NetEngine AR enterprise routers that provides higher forwarding performance at the egress of enterprise WANs. - Furthermore, service providers are rapidly modernizing their networks to satiate enterprises' growing appetites for higher performance and superior user experiences. However, as service providers adopt virtualization and SDN capabilities, they are being held back by monitoring techniques that cannot keep up. The enterprise cloud migrations and increasing reliance on software-as-a-service applications- introduced new challenges. This has driven service providers to adopt NFV, SDN, and cloud-native computing technologies. In May 2020, 128 Technology, the leader in Session Smart Routing, announced that Momentum Telecom selected 128 Technology's Session Smart Router to enable a new era of software-defined network services for its thousands of enterprise customers and partners. Key Market Trends Wireless Connectivity is Expected to Hold Major Share - An ordinary wireless router can only support approximately 10-20 users’ access. In contrast, the wireless access router point allows over 50 or even hundreds of users’ access, with the potential ability to send and receive signals. According to Cisco, the expected penetration of enterprise internet traffic via wireless fixed-line connection in 2021 shall be 125988 petabytes per month. With the rise in high internet traffic and devices, average fixed broadband speed, along with average internet users, will grow exponentially in the forecast period. Average fixed broadband speed is likely to increase from 5.1 Mbps in 2015 to 12.9 Mbps in 2020. - For instance, the industry’s first 5G optimized wireless WAN edge router for enterprise branch deployments has been released by Cradlepoint in May 2020. The Cradlepoint E3000 Series, according to the company, optimizes performance and investment protection and enables customers to deploy a wireless wide-area network (Wireless WAN) using the latest LTE and Wi-Fi technology and seamlessly upgrade to 5G in the future. The COVID-19 pandemic has fueled an already growing demand for agile and rapidly deployable wireless WANs based on LTE for primary connectivity. Cradlepoint said in the release that the E3000 Series is intended to target this market directly. - Furthermore, M2M Connectivity supplies a broad range of wireless routers for 4G/3G as well as models for satellite and short-range RF (WLAN, Bluetooth). These ethernet routers enable remote access and communication with equipment and assets such as remote PLCs, data loggers, and microcontrollers. With the increasing usage of such solutions in various end-users, the market tends to grow in this sector. In April 2020, Digi International announced the launch of several new cellular routers and extenders, each designed to meet the present and future connectivity needs of organizations for M2M applications in the transportation and enterprise marketplaces. North America is Expected to Hold Major Share - North America is expected to hold a prominent share in the enterprise routers market. Moreover, the region has a strong foothold of network routers vendors. Some of them include Cisco Systems, Inc., Dell EMC, Juniper Networks, Inc., among others, which contribute to the growth of the market. It is estimated that till 2022, in the United States the market for network router will grow to USD 11,950 million which includes the market for ethernet service edge router, multiservice edge router, service provider core router, and internet exchange router (source Cisco), where the expectation of high market growth potentially move towards internet exchange router in 2022. - Moreover, according to Cisco, 46% of network devices will be machine -to -machine or IoT by 2020, which are vulnerable to attacks. To fully realize the potential of these connected devices, the industries need to be equipped with WANs that are flexible to meet the network demands anticipated over the future. Furthermore, the emergence of trending technologies, such as cloud networking, SaaS-based application, network analytics, DevOps, and virtualization, has encouraged the users and businesses in North America to undertake enterprise routers products. - However, security and privacy concerns are restraining the market. According to the study, five out of every six routers in the United States are running out-of-date firmware with exploitable security vulnerabilities, which hinders market growth globally. In a situation where many employees are currently working from home due to a COVID-19 pandemic or access wi-fi networks that operate at enterprise-level security, devices such as routers can be hacked to plant a range of malware into handheld devices used by employees. Subex, through its honeypot network (a decoy computer system for trapping hackers), spread across 62 cities, has been tracking cyberattack trends and malware activity that can be correlated with the outbreak. Competitive Landscape The enterprise routers market is fragmented as the global players invest in R&D for the latest innovations in the product for several small to medium-sized companies. Key players are Cisco Systems, Inc., Juniper Networks, Inc., Hewlett Packard Enterprise, etc. The companies operating in the market continuously strive to launch new solutions to help service providers achieve a holistic approach to infrastructure transformation and gain new orders in that course for strategic aim. - March 2020 - Huawei confirmed that its next-generation NetEngine AR600 and AR6000 series enterprise routers have passed the verification test by The Tolly Group which is an authoritative international provider of testing and validation. The results showed that Huawei's NetEngine AR routers are equipped to handle the growth in traffic from digital transformation in the next three to five years, leading the way to a new era of ultra-fast interconnection for enterprise WANs. - December 2019 - Cisco Silicon One based Q100 processor and 8000 Series routers. Cisco will uniquely allow ecosystem players to separately buy processors, the XR7 router software, 8000 series routers without software, optical modules (QSFP-DD and QSFP28), or a fully integrated 8000 Series solution. The 8000 Series router and the Q100 processor is targeted at service providers and data center operators ranging from large aggregation to core applications. “Molecular Levers” Acc healthcare  elerate Reactions
www.inhandnetworks.com
Researchers at Duke University found that a molecule made with a polynorbornene backbone  fault location  can act as a lever to open a ring embedded within the molecule 1000 times faster than a similar ring being tugged at on a polybutadiene scaffold. The discovery could be used to engineer more efficient materials.
Durham, North Carolina – In a forced game of molecular tug-of war, some s healthcare  trings of atoms can act like a lever, accelerating reactions 1000 times faster than other molecules. The discovery suggests that scientists could use these molecular levers to drive chemical and mechanical reactivity among atoms and ultimately engineer more efficient materials.
“We are interested in designing new, stress-responsive materials, so we are trying to develop reactions that are very slow normally but that can be accelerated efficiently by force,” said Duke chemist Steve Craig, who headed the research.
In recent experiments, Craig and his team found that a molecule made with a polynorbornene backbone can act as a lever to open a ring embedded within the molecule 1000 times faster than a similar ring being tugged at on a polybutadiene scaffold. The results, which appear in Nature Chemistry, suggest that a simple change in the backbone may affect the how fast mechanically assisted reactions occur.
Scientists are interested in this type of molecular tug-of-war because many materials break down after repeated cycles of tugging, stress and other forces. “If we can channel usually destructive forces into constructive pathways, we could trigger reactions that make the material stronger when and where it is most useful,” Craig said. Researchers might then be able to extend the material’s lifetime, which might in the long term have applications ranging from composites for airplane frames to biomedical implants.
In the experiment, Craig, who is a professor and chair of the chemistry department, and his team used the equivalent of microscopic tweezers to grab onto two parts of atomic chains and pulled them so that they would break open, or react, in certain spots. The team predicted that one molecule would react more efficiently th cashless vending  an the other but was surprised to find that the force-induced rates differed by three orders of magnitude, an amount that suggests that the polynorbornene backbone can actually accelerate forced reactions the way a crowbar quickens pulling a nail from a wall.
Craig said changes to the molecular group undergoing the reaction may have a much smaller effect than changes to nearby, unreactive molecules like those on the backbone. It is also a good starting point to identify other molecular backbones that are easy to make and have the largest response to changes in nearby reactions, features Craig said might help in developing even better, more responsive materials.
The research was supported by the U.S. Army Research Laboratory, the Army Research Office and National Science Foundation.
