yknow it is really cool that this is still the most popular rwd drawing on my account considering it's definitely the most i've ever put into one of my fanarts but MAN. the way i draw VR-LA has changed a LOT

#asto speaks #also! noticed by Noir! that never hurts #i know at least one other of my drawings have been noticed by Noir (the old crew doodles) but this was one of my first fanarts so it stuck #that said wow i used to draw VR-LA way different #i think it took like 14 hours or something it fully didn't need to #like if i redrew this now it would definitely take way less time #like a fully coloured A4 canvas like this usually caps out at around 4-5 hours for me now but i never do proper lineart so #definitely longer than that. but still less than 14 #that's one of the most cool things about me drawing for rwd like besides the immensely cool community #i can literally *feel* myself improving and getting faster is one of the ways you can tell #man. don't underestimate the power of establishing a workflow
