season 2 of beastars was...... odd
#i didn't totally dislike it or enjoy it i think i was largely perplexed bc the direction took such a sharp turn from the first season#like hal was barely a part of the second season when she was the focal point of the first and the side step from that wasn't done well#i like the insight into devour stuff and all that but the way new characters were introdced alongside everything was a little fumbly#and left a lot of open ends in a way that wasn't as forgivable as the first season#it also seemed like everything was predominantly from a predators pov even ruis' storyline#maybe that's the point but it still feels clunky coming outta season 1#also legoshi super saiyan so he can talk to people is v funny and takes so much weight off of what happened with ruis for like no reason#maybe that shoulda happened earlier in the fight lol#maybe i'm just mad bc hal didn't have like any time juno too#like wtf.... whats going on with them :(
