#FUCK THIS UPDATE FOR REAL. PUT IT BACK#you know what i DIDN'T like about twitter? its overwhelming desktop layout. i stopped using it after a few weeks bc i hated it#you know what i liked about tumblr's? there was space to breathe. it was easy on the eyes#you can't just STEAL twitter's layout??? did you think people wouldn't notice??? what???#it doesn't even SCALE for bigger screens!! amateur shit!! it's so clumped together and ugly#how would a design like this even scale for 1440p. move the sidebar to the far left? bigger posts?#maybe some might have complained abt the old dash being off-center but that's naturally where my eyes go on a website. middle left#i understand part of web design is 'complying with a user's expectations' but you're fucking with older users' muscle memory#and if i were a twitter migrant i would open the dash and say 'wow. they're pandering. this looks cheap.' and never use it again#do you think new users can't get used to a new website layout?? do you think they're that stupid???#unless an extension or setting could override this i might genuinely stop using this website. fuck this
