getting sick of the antipsych crowd. yeah lemme just dismantle capitalism to make all my problems go away. unmedicated.
#like idk it bugs me that we don't know why these meds work#or that sometimes ppl are put on them instead of addressing a root cause#but like idk. they work.#alsp ppl who think everyone has depression cos we're full of microplastics and gmos or whatever#do u know how much lead children have been ingesting for centuries. we'll be fine.#idk like i'm glad all your mental health problems would dissapear in an imaginary perfect society where stress of any kind is nonexistent#but personally i have had severe mental health issues my entire life and medication is the only thing that's helped so far#p sure the family history and whatevers wrong with my dopamine regulation wld still be there if i lived on a commune and ate organic food.#not saying those things wouldn't help bit#there's always gonna be ppl w depression and schizophrenia and ocd and shit and there always have been#maybe we need a better way of treatment but pretending chronic depression just doesn't exist won't work#i don't believe in restricting ppls freedom but u can't just say nobody should take ssris based on an imagined utopia where#ppl just. dont want to kill themselves
