Remembering the last time I started therapy again, where my new shrink talked to me for 20 minutes, barely let me get a word in before proclaiming I need to be on antidepressants, and then cut the session short
#this is the same shrink who called me this past july after not contacting me since January btw#I hadn't gotten to tell her more than ''my family is emotionally abusive and my dad died'' before she said I need medication#like I didn't get to explain how I feel and how my depression affects me or my goals or anything#she lectured me about how our sessions proceeded to not follow said protocol barely got to know me#then insisted I should be on meds#she was a psychologist btw I'd just seen the psychiatrist right before our session and he said I was fine#and free to choose if I wanted to start meds or not#meanwhile my psychologist was like ''no I insist you go on antidepressants Im going to make a note for the doctor for you''#like bitch no tf you ain't#anyways that was fun (not)#makes me hesitant to try therapy again but at the same time I really fuckinh want to#just waiting for my work medical to kick in#sam's rants about life
