I feel like my entire story where Solas' ritual is stopped by the DA4 protag is justified with this new Game Informer article? Maelgwn, technically Rook, who started out distrusting and despising Solas (but respecting him) and over the course of the their story she learned to see him as so much more than what she previously knew. I doubt it would happen, but a Rook/Solas pairing if he wasn't romanced in Inquisition would be incredible. (I still love Lavellan/Solas, don't get me wrong, I'm just being greedy)

Oh yeah btw I am super hyped for Dragon Age the Veilguard, just to be clear! The name change doesn't bother me at all. I'm really just happy we are getting DA4 after waiting a decade. My humble hopes are for a really good story, some new delicious LORE and closure with Solas (for low approval, high approval, AND romance).

Just stumbled across a comment on my dragon age fic from a couple days ago (didn't get a notif) that put me in tears. Genuinely, some of the kindest, most uplifting words I've ever received as a writer, artist, and person. I'm going to start chipping away at that story again because of them. 🥹 (don't worry, bg3 is still my main focus, I've just got my flame back)

And in general, thank you with my whole heart to those who have taken valuable time to leave a comment on my art and writing. This last year hasn't been kind to me, but every sliver of kindness has helped me keep my head up. Xoxo💜✨️

Resisting-Dark Urge Astarion romance is the best rpg experience I've ever had and I don't think I can ever play a normal 'Tav' after this. Both are so tragic. They understand each other. They're terrible and chaotic and traumatised. They're so terrified and uncertain about the darkness they each have inside themselves. Their love goes through such a trial, but it evolves, it holds. Even Ascended has its own insane beauty, devastating as it is. I am in shambles over this story.

I’m so sorry people are being jerks in your tags! I don’t understand what motivates people to do this. I don’t even share most of your fandoms, but have followed you for quite a while because I find your art and the pieces of story you convey through it absolutely captivating; I miss seeing your work on my dash, but more than that I’m sorry you keep having experiences that make sharing your work a stressor instead of a joy. Take care of yourself - and I hope it helps a little to know there are some of us who just enjoy the things you make without qualification or expectation. <3

I'm really touched that you have been following for my art rather than the subject?? And for a while? That's a massive compliment that I'll carry with me forever. Thank you. It does help, it helps a lot - with the state of social media and how much it's been making creators doubt themselves (the daily thought/question: "is my work even good or worth being noticed, what am i doing wrong") it's bewildering, in a very good and inspiring way, to hear that someone enjoys my art not for the fandom aspect. No, I do not take your OCs x Canon unless I make a post where I'm accepting them. Otherwise, that's commission territory.

I first played DAI around the beginning of 2018 and Solas stole my heart - he spoke gently and was steadfast to my party as I often tank my first playthrough of a game. I had never been able to find myself in a Lavellan as they are small and lithe and I am very much neither. I ultimately ended up starting my own fic and made an entire cast for it. Self fulfillment, I guess, haha. She’s adjacent to the actual Inquisitor and the storyline is canon divergent, so it definitely inhabits a micro-niche corner. Thank you for allowing me to gush about her a bit!
