oh also i watched sleepaway camp (1983) for the first time tonight and am now really uncomfortable with the way i've heard cis horror fans talk about that movie on the internet lol
#cis people are banned from discussing 1. silence of the lambs and 2. sleepaway camp until further notice#maybe forever because you guys will never not be fucking weird about it#most conflicting moment ever when you go into a movie knowing there's transphobia in it and then#the movie kinda rocks . and yet the use of a trans body for shock and spectacle is still horrifying and upsetting#but there is also kind of some interesting angles you can take to it in terms of analysis#like how angela is so clearly alienated/ostracized/dehumanized from the start and the way her monstrosity is construed by the film#oh angela 💔💔💔💔#aaurgghg its also one in the morning and i cant form coherent thoughts but yea#i'm just very . ououhghhhghg
