“After four other tours left these lions in the shade, we, in our own vehicle, just waited. About 30 minutes later they came out and played in the sun with their cub. Then they posed for me. After all the hours watching lions in the shade, this was a photographic thrill. Even more thrilling–after this shot, the male proceeded through traditional foreplay and mating with the female. The photographic sequence is stunning.”
