dazai would be a geo sword support that increases elemental res, acting as a debuffer (as no longer human works in the bsd universe) he would also scale off em

kunikida would also be geo but catalyst that deals physical aoe dmg.. he'd be an in-slot dps but not an optimal one imao his talents are much better suited to make him a battery unit

akutagawa would be pyro polearm?? or sword?? and he's obviously a heavy dps that scales off crit rate/dmg and tenma tengai could be similar to cyno's burst when, once activated, increases def while simultaneously raising rashomon's atk

chuuya would be an anemo catalyst dps similar to wanderer bc of his gravity manipulation and he would have a melee stance where he atks from the ground and an elevated state where he uses gravity manipulation to be able to atk off-ground. his ult would be corruption obviously and would parallel xiao's where his atk and crit rate/dmg are sharply increased but he undergoes continuous dmg until the duration of his burst ends (in this state he is vulnerable as his def is lowered and he isn't able to accumulate energy meaning he needs a team built around him, preferably with a healer and a shielder)

I've ranted a whole lot about the importance of physical media in the past. I love physical media. I have a CD and vinyl collection of stuff from my favorite bands, and am currently getting back into reading and found I vastly prefer physical books over both ebooks and audiobooks. I got the entire DVD box of ATLA last year just so that I can watch it whenever I like.

But it took me until today to realize that the reason why is because of how badly all these digital streaming service-platforms have affected me.

Like, I found art from a webcomic a while ago that I thought looked really interesting, but have been putting off reading the thing for MONTHS. I couldn't quite put my finger on why until I found out yesterday that there are printed, physical copies for sale of the entire webcomic itself in book format. And despite absolutely insane shipping costs, I could at some point buy it, and keep it.

And now I finally started reading it, and I'm loving it.

Turns out, I would rather put myself through sickening, nauseating FOMO than risk the piece of media getting taken off the platform it's available on in the middle of me reading/watching it.

Jeremy king: He's a pessimistic downer, who constantly talks about how miserable himself and the world is. He's also usually described as "mopey" or a "defeatist". He sighs and even says "sigh" out loud a lot. Hes a major pushover, so you'll get him to do mostly anything (if it doesn't have to do with germs) you want and he doesn't really have the energy to complain or say no for very long. Jeremy canonically suffers from insomnia, causing him to accidentally fall asleep and take naps in places he should (out in the courtyard of the school, in class, etc.). He has germaphobia, to the point he wouldn't even let his girlfriend touch him unless she washed her hands two times infront of his eyes, and it would take until college to get him to give you a kiss (even then it's only under the shower for probably a long while). He dislikes overly sweet people because he feels guilty over being an asshole and he hates the hobby shop he works at, which is also owned by his parents.

Pran taylor: Pran is a stubborn asshole who doesn't do anything that is asked of him. His usual replies are either "no" or "i don't care". Though he is somewhat open to physical touch when you get closer to him, and he gets more sociable when he becomes an adult. He thinks everyone in the world is horrible, even himself. The only person he actually likes is Jeremy. Pran has incredibly low self-esteem and openly hates his parents. He doesn't do well at school and sometimes actively breaks the rules, for example: skipping classes and not doing his homework.

Shiloh fields: He's a manipulating little snake, known in the group for lying. Nobody there really takes what he says seriously. Though he acts like he's incredibly happy, social and likes to interact with everyone. He makes good connections, but is a bit of a snitch. He's ready to throw someone else under the bus if it means getting himself out of trouble.

Everett gray: He's incredibly obnoxious and self-centered, not wanting to like whats considered mainstream, to the point he owns a flip phone instead of a normal cellphone. He brags about how people wouldn't know the stuff hes interested in, but does somewhat show his interest in some popular things enough so that he isn't considered weird by people. He's lazy and rarely does homework, much less study for tests. His mood can change harshly randomly, so it's extremely hard to be on the right foot with him. He also has a habit of complaining about everything and anything, and playing things off as not a big deal. He swears a lot, the only time he doesn't is infront of his own mother. He openly talks about how amazing his mother is and how he loves her. He grapples with his low and fluctuating self esteem, occasionally being very confident or not with himself, but he tends to bury these feelings until he has to deal with them later.He is quite popular and has many friends as well as flings throughout the school. People have also called him out for being a pushover and unable to make his own decisions as he almost always relies on his mom or Nate.

Nate lawson: He's an perfectionist and constantly working. He puts a lot of pressure on himself to be perfect and do many after-school activities, and could be seen as a somewhat assistant for teachers. He’s shown to be emotional and prone to breaking into tears if under enough stress or is in unfamiliar situations. He takes school and rules extremely seriously. Nate is extremely competitive and does not engage in any game or competition because of it and belives he is always in the right and refuses to believe otherways. He takes great effort to look after Everett and JB (if you befriend or date him) by ensuring they perform at least the baseline requirements of school like passing a quiz or doing homework.

Bae pyoun: Hes incredibly annoying to other people. He talks down to them, constantly uses petnames for people and treats them like they're children. He see's himself as more mature and "adult-like" than all the other high schoolers. He does have a love for his family and children in general, and is able to handle kids pretty well.

Pran has little information because i love him too much to remember much and need to replay his route. And im Bae's #1 hater so he's getting only basic information.

Middlepaw info dump cuz I’m bored. No, this will not be well organized. I’m tired and don’t have the energy to organize and also just remembered I gotta do Duolingo, but really don’t wanna… so if I mysteriously disappear, you know why. Anyways, sorry if this is rambly and/or doesn’t make any sense… I may or may not fix it later if needed

- They crave attention because they often don’t recieve a lot of it. Because they haven’t recieved much of it, tho, they aren’t too great at interacting with others… so instead of just talking to cats to get attention, they do some interesting things. Example: approaching Milkwail (quitedisasterous’ character. I absolutely love Milkwail <33) in hopes of being punted because being punted is a form of attention and any attention is good attention (spoiler: this plan failed, but in the best way possible)

- When they do get attention, they have no clue what to do with it. Social situations are not their specialty

- To make up for the lack of interacting with cats, they tend to interact with inanimate objects instead. Rocks, sticks, leaves, whatever. They’ll also just talk to nothing while staring off into the void of time and space. They have like full on convos like this and have specific objects that are their close friends. They tend to keep these ones stashed in hiding places around the territory so that others don’t accidentally mess with them or something not realizing that they have importance. (one of Middlepaw’s favorites is their emotional support shedded snake skin named Jerry. Why is it named Jerry? Cuz I said so. I really don’t know. They keep Jerry extra well hidden compared to the others)

- Middlepaw is very nonconfrontational. For example, if someone were to find one of their object friends and messed with it in some way, they wouldn’t be happy about it, but wouldn’t do anything. They’d probably just watch from a distance and be really tense the whole time and then go find it a new hiding spot the moment the cat left (btw, by “not happy,” I mean like worried, not mad. They understand that these are just objects to everyone else and don’t blame others for not seeing these things the same way they do)

- They talk to themselves and also objects and stuff and they do so both out loud and in their head, so sometimes they mix the two up… meaning they’ll occasionally talk to a cat and accidentally say things in their head and just be staring at the cat waiting for a response to something they never actually said

- They did have a family (parents and two siblings), but they just kinda disappeared one day. I’m still working out the details on this, kinda wanna wait until more canon lore about Mommyclan history comes out before I set the specifics in stone. Middlepaw has a vague idea of what happened to them, but that’s probably about the most info anyone has. Middlepaw also just kinda tried to pretend nothing had happened. This is all subject to change tho. I’ll prob make another post about this once I solidify the details and stuff. Or maybe not, idk. We’ll see

- They’re 10 moons old

- Uhhhhhhhh… more fun facts…. Middlepaw loves mints. They found one once and absolutely loved it
