Can't say this on Twitter so I'm going to say it here. If future Teumes are ever like "omg supporting OT12 is toxic, appreciate the members that are present." I will hunt you down and skin you alive. This isn't Stray Kids, this is not Woojin we're talking about, there's no controversy here! Mashiho and Yedam were pillars of Treasure. Mashi was a dance leader and Yedam had a voice known the world over. Treasure may be 10 in our eyes but they will always and forever be 12 in our hearts and I'll be damned if some snot-nosed little cretin is going to tell me how to be a fan. This SHATTERED me in a way only those who have lost members of groups they loved will understand. The pieces of my heart are just rattling around the inside of my ribcage. It's fucking agony. Treasure, those are my sons and I just lost two of them. I've gone from the highest fucking high to the lowest low in six months. hi adri 🤍 yesterday's news was heartbreaking, my eyes feel dry after crying so much for so long. couldn't sleep well, forced myself to eat. i hope that eventually teumes and specially treasure can cope with reality.

i thought about it over and over, i guess what happened will someday prove to be good for all of us. mashiho will be well again, yedam will be evolving as a producer and treasure will go up their paths as a group. teumes too will be able to realise this and support all the boys just like the old times <3 though it's gonna take a good while, i am hopeful that some day soon we’re gonna stand up on our feet again ^.^ *hugs*

I was at work when they announced it and I'm glad my friend (who is an EXO-L) was there to comfort me. I don't know how I would be at that moment without her. I cried for hours straight, on the way home and right before I slept. Just thinking that we will never see them 12 together again just feels so unreal, I haven't even fully processed it yet. There really is a hole in my heart that only OT12 Treasure can fill. 🥺

It will take time, and maybe I will never really move on from it, but you're right. I believe that whatever is happening now might be painful, but it will all make sense in the right moment. I will miss them everyday, but I believe the universe has a way of putting things in order to get the best outcome for everyone.

I saw the news first thing this morning and I felt my heart sink. I really thought yedam and mashiho would come back to us, I really wanted ot12 to be forever. They both brought so much to this amazing group: vocals, dance, stage performance... Now, I believe that while this might take some time to digest, we can go forward with the other 10 members while also hoping for the best for yedam and mashiho. My wish is to see them ALL thrive, whether that's in treasure or on their own path in life. To me treasure will always be 12, but I will love treasure as 10 just as much as I did before. They need us right now more than ever so that's where I'll be, right beside them just as they have done for me through their music and content. I'll cry for what once was and smile for all that will be!

CONCLUSION :

i think the reason why this goes around the way it does is because the 'thought process' of biases and bias wreckers are kind of different?

with biases, it's only natural to find similarities or something to relate to in another person and a para-social relationship isn't any different. and when you start you just never really stop. i also find that the bias is typically the person (or people) you're investing more time in, thinking about them, getting to know them through the screen...

whereas with biaswreckers, they're like photo bombs. they're a break from all of that. they're the ones you're thinking 'omg they're actually so fucking pretty what the hell' 'omg so fucking hilarious' 'nawww they're actually so gentle/strong etc'. they're a bit of a jump start.

Last night I dreamed about LOONA. It wasn't the first time either one or a few of the girls slipped into my dreams, but I had never had a dream where the twelve of them appeared. Last night was my first OT12 LOONA dream.

I was just a mere observer throughout most part.

It was about the girls reuniting after a rough year, all of them, the twelve of them. It was about welcoming Yerim back after her break and seeing a timid smile on her face, a sign of her hardships not having disappeared. Everyone else, busily preparing for their shared plans, making sure that she felt comfortable and at ease. It was about small talk and reassuring words. It was about Sooyoung asking her how she'd been, lightheartedly, and Yerim's smile widening.

It was about Jungeun and Hyeju taking a moment to hear the answer while carrying more chairs for everyone to sit and getting in the way of Kahei and Yeojin as they grabbed the ingredients from the portable fridge to continue cooking.

It was about the animated chatter from Heejin and Hyunjin while waiting for the instructions from the more experimented members in terms of cooking, and Jinsol setting all the needed utensils, twelve of each: bowls, plates, glasses, chopsticks and spoons, Chaewon's attentive eyes counting twice.

It was about Haseul venturing off on her own to start the fire and alerting the eyes of everyone else for a second as the flames shot up and calmed down right after.

It was about Jiwoo dragging her heavy feet on the soft grass and standing a couple of steps behind Yerim, Jungeun delaying her return to the fire area to assist Haseul and Hyeju, extending her stay at the log pile for an instant to watch over her tired friend.

It was about Haseul calling Jungeun over, and Yeojin directing her unnies, and Jinsol offering a hand to Kahei, and Heejin asking Hyeju to help when the fire was ready, and Chaewon being amused by Hyunjin trying to prove her chopping and slicing skills, and Sooyoung guiding Yerim towards the rest, one hand on her back, the other extended for Jiwoo to take.

It was about abundant food, cheerful conversation, heartfelt laughter. It was a dream about the happiness hidden behind the simplicity of a shared meal with the people you love. Those who have seen you fall next to them, those who have helped you back on your feet, those who have stood behind you, those who have seen the silent tears that do not exist for anyone else in the world. It was a dream about companions of soul, hearts intertwined with a bond too profound to be grasped.

It was a dream about twelve friends around a fire in the night, dreamers with spirits set past the skies, on the distant stars, shining tirelessly, hearts under the moon that watches them over —always and forever—, protector of a dozen butterflies fluttering their wings in unison.

After the meal, deep into the night, tiptoeing onto the earliest morning, a screen projected them: the perfect image that the cameras capture for three minutes and some seconds, then the moment when it ends, chests heaving, eyes twinkling under the stage lights; and also the imperfect image they are most accustomed to, that they keep to themselves, their precious secret. It was a projection about their time together, that part that only they know, that invisible truth that defines them. It was a projection about time, voraciously eating at the carefully recorded memories, the good and the bad, the challenging and the impossible. It was a projection about the warmth of holding hands in the freezing winter, transcending the screen and settling into their present: the warmth of a crackling fire that collided with their cold breaths creating a misty atmosphere.

And a soft voice followed by some rustling to her right, Jiwoo took her eyes off her past and present, repositioned her bigger frame on her camping chair so that Chaewon could continue admiring it, set her gaze on the future: those eleven girls. The yellowy light invaded their otherwise dark eyes. A semicircle of chairs around the second heat source —the first one twelve bodies shoulder to shoulder, led by Sooyoung on one end, ended by Jiwoo on the other lead—, arrayed twelve beautiful faces, mesmerized by the images playing before them. Jiwoo took a closer look, at each of them, caringly, and it dawned on her.

And in that moment, the perspective of the dream shifted, and I was seeing it through her eyes. And it all made sense. In that moment, I found peace through her peace, and the dream ended.

It was a dream about a campfire and a playback. It was a dream about the twilight that will come.
