The strange traits of 2012 Casey Jones
He draws like Peter Laird
Tumblr media Tumblr media
(Casey's notebook from the show on the left, Peter Laird on the right)
He prefers subbed anime and hates dubbed anime (Plan 10)
Made retractable skates for his sneakers, still can't pass trigonometry
Is one of few characters seen driving (does he have a license?)
Can't pass trig, but can make a taser out of a potato masher and a glove
He's left handed
Can refurbish an entire car, yet, he still can't pass trigonometry
Was canonically born in 1995, making him 17 at the start of the series
Hokey stick says Eastman and Laird, and only logical reasoning I have for that is that it's the name of his school and he's stealing equipment
His handwriting is perfect cursive, and he can't pass trig
His fighting style seems to be to build momentum by skating circles around his opponent, rather than being a tank, like most Caseys
He constantly carries around spray paint, and his clothes are covered in spray paint, but he's never seen doing graffiti
he does however tag opponents with spray paint, which is odd, considering it does very little
He also admires graffiti (the invasion)
Apparently, it looked to Raph like he was gonna kill a man the first time they met
Meaning it's implied that he would have/has killed or maimed
His reaction to a bunch of mutant turtles unmasking him was to hiss at them, like an animal
Still can't pass trigonometry

Swords and Arrows
or That Summer When The Ares and Athena Cabins Finally Allied For Capture The Flag part 1 of 3
⚔️🏹⚔️🏹⚔️🏹
(A Steo Demigod AU) || For @anonymous's prompt: "Scott as a Roman demigod instead of Greek" || word count: 2,647 || The Entire Demigod Series -> [AO3][Tumblr] (it's finally a working link tfg)
Stiles pulls back, "I was going to ask if you missed me," he says, face flushed and beaming. "But it appears I don't need to."
"You never need to."
🏹⚔️🏹⚔️🏹⚔️
I.
"Why the long face, little brother?" Tara asks cheerfully, wedging herself on the bench between Theo and one of their half-siblings, and placing down her tray brimming with colorful food as opposed to Theo's bleak and half-empty one. She grins at Theo, but he's not in the mood to return the goodwill.
Theo pokes half-heartedly at the contents of his tray: a lonely sealed bag with a couple squares of ambrosia inside - the food of the gods - some cheese and two slices of wheat bread. "Don't call me little brother," he mutters with little heat, leaning to the table to whisper a request to his goblet, which immediately fills up with sparkling water.
Tara looks over Theo's head at Fred, their Head Counselor, sitting on Theo's other side. "He's not back yet?"
Fred shakes his head, wiping the bbq sauce at the side of his mouth. "Nope," he replies, popping the 'p' and catching on to the question without much elaboration. By now, there's only one 'he' that reduces Theo to a brooding and sulky man-child. "He hasn't answered Theo's last IM, too."
"Try the last five Iris Messages," Theo grumbles in annoyance. He turns to Tara, face contorted in a sour expression. "I mean, how difficult is it to take my call? He always has drachmas in his pocket exactly for this reason."
"He's probably busy disintegrating monsters," Fred says reasonably. Which, of course, makes sense. Monsters make the most infuriating and persistent roadblock of all. They make any journey twice as long for demigods - if they don't manage to kill you, that is. "Or, you know," Fred adds, wiggling his eyebrows suggestively. "maybe he's being an accomodating companion to the Son of Jupiter."
Theo grinds his teeth hard and fixes his head counselor with a death glare. Fred only shrugs at Theo's reaction, obviously aiming for the exact response, and chuckling through a bite of ambrosia. Theo has half a mind to punch him in the jugular. He doesn't need a reminder of who Stiles is with, thanks. Spitefully, he harshly impales a piece of grape from Fred's tray with the tines of his fork and shoves it to his mouth in the most menacing manner he can project.
It only makes Fred guffaw, spraying bits of food onto the table. The campers across from him slide their trays away protectively, shrieking an indignant chorus of "Fred!" as they make sure no stray bits made it into their platters. Fred raps at his chest as he reaches for his goblet, still laughing his dumb ass off while trying to wave his hand in apology.
Their neighbors also share their opinion on the appalling table manners of the Ares brood - spitting out food may slightly be a common scene from their lot, unfortunately.
Brett from the Apollo cabin throws corn kernels at Fred, a strange display of solidarity if you can believe it, while Ara, the half-Korean junior counselor of Athena cabin, gives the Ares and Apollo tables a look of disapproval. She's a pretty terrifying 15 years old, which is why Stiles is extremely fond of her. With Stiles gone to New Rome the first week back to camp, Ara is doing a kickass job taking over the head counselor duty. (But, to Hades with it, Theo would much prefer Stiles to be scowling at their table.)
"Okay, first of all," Tara says over the little chaos. "Fred, you're disgusting. Second," she holds Theo's chin to compel him to look at her, then smirks, "Stealing a piece of fruit is not a cabin 5-worthy intimidation tactic."
Theo opens his mouth for his scathing retort, but at the same time, one of Stiles's younger siblings points in the direction of the cabins. "Hey, it's Stiles!"
Many heads look up, but Theo springs to his feet instantly, scanning the area for Stiles. He catches sight of him almost immediately, bounding to the Mess Hall in his orange shirt, face bright under the camp's enchanted borders, as radiant as the last time Theo saw him four long months ago. Without much thought, Theo finds himself carried by his feet towards Stiles.
Stiles sees him coming too, and his smile broaden. Theo sprints, forgetting himself and where they are. They meet halfway, by the entrance of the Mess Hall, with Theo knocking into Stiles's open arms strong enough that it's a surprise they're still upright on the ground.
Theo squeezes him to make sure his mind did not conjure a Spectre to appease his longing. Stiles feels solid under his hands, if a little sweaty, and he smells as if he was run over by monsters. But underneath the grime, he catches the scent of Stiles's favorite body wash. He feels himself sagging in satisfaction.
Stiles pulls back, "I was going to ask if you missed me," he says, face flushed and beaming. "But it appears I don't need to."
"You never need to."
Theo doesn't know how long they stood just smiling at each other, but they break apart at Chiron's pointed clearing of the throat. It's not even in Theo's head to be embarrassed by his actions despite the cackling and many leering faces of the other demigods. Mr. D merely raises an unimpressed eyebrow, though the twinkle in his eyes can only be from amusement.
Chiron is sitting on his wheelchair today, hiding his horse's ass behind the illusion of human legs - why he still does it is a wonder - and rolls forward to them.
"Stiles Stilinski," he greets merrily, the lines of his eyes crinkling when he smiles. "Welcome back." Chiron gazes a little behind them, then, nodding kindly towards another boy Theo only notices, is standing patiently at a distance.
The boy, Scott McCall, son of Jupiter and a praetor of the Roman demigods' army, the Twelfth Legion Fulminata, steps forward to bow his head in respect of the centaur. "Chiron," he also acknowledges Mr. D who didn't bother to get up from the head table. "Lord Bacchus."
"Hm," Mr. D hums without correcting the demigod, sipping on his diet coke dismissively.
Theo doesn't hate Scott, but he also doesn't like him - strongly, irrationally, dislikes him. Instinctively, he shuffles closer to Stiles as if his boyfriend is going to dissolve into the Mist if he isn't close enough to pull him back.
Theo's been agitated since Stiles told him, a week prior, that he was flying to New Rome in California where Camp Jupiter is, the Roman camp, for a 'friendly' visit. Everyone's allowed to cross borders, but no one has really done so just to tour around. After all, the camps are on opposing sides of the country and monsters don't pause to consider not killing vacationing demigods.
A couple of times before last week, when Theo visited Stiles in his Manhattan apartment, he'd, out of the blue, mentioned the varied courses and scholarships that New Rome University offered, as Theo laid his head on Stiles's lap while the latter read. Theo hadn't minded it at the time, as Stiles quickly dropped the subject. But another month passed and Stiles mentioned it again, randomly, during one of their IMs, adding that he might check into the enrollment requisites. Theo started to worry, then.
If Stiles goes to New Rome for college, Theo can't follow him. He never even got to finish eighth grade. And Scott, he's one of the Romans, their leader, and grudging as he is to admit, one of Stiles's friends now the more he visits Camp Half-Blood. He will eagerly encourage Stiles, telling him of the countless perks that Camp Jupiter has. He will be as big a hero there as he is in Camp Half-Blood, and he can rise to praetorship alongside Scott if the Legion so wishes it.
Scott is not a bad person per se, but he wears the color and insignia of the place Theo might lose Stiles to. And if Theo blinks the wrong way, he might not see quick enough that Stiles is being whisked away to the other side of the coast, leading a life without him.
⚔️🏹⚔️🏹⚔️🏹
After officially welcoming the son of Jupiter to the camp, feeding him, and getting him settled in Cabin One, the campers go about their daily routine of training.
The blade vibrates when it hits the shooting log, right on the marked spot. Then it disappears into thin air and reappears in Theo's hand only to be thrown back to the same spot. He does it repeatedly, unrelentingly, until Tara aims with his bow and hits his blade with an arrow to send both weapons clanging to the ground, a few meters away.
Theo heaves; he doesn't even know he's breathless just from throwing until then. Wiping beads of sweat from his forehead, he nods appreciatively at the bow in Tara's hands when his sister stands beside him with a smile. "If we aren't siblings, I'd mistake you for a daughter of Apollo."
"Please," she laughs, opening her palm, gesturing at the fallen weapons. Both her arrow and Theo's blade fly to her hands in a matter of seconds. "I don't want to light up like a glow stick while waxing poetry during a fight." Children of Apollo don't actually do those in the middle of a fight, but they do glow when they're healing, and they can make others speak in rhymes just for fun. Tara offers the knife back to his brother. "Also, we're children of Ares. By birthright alone, we should know to wield any weapon of war."
Theo takes the knife and snorts, "And yet, I suck at archery."
"I can't summon weapons out of thin air," She points out, grinning at him as she puts the arrow back to its sheaf. "I guess we just can't have it all or Zeus would be zapping us one by one."
Theo scoffs, leaning into position to begin throwing again.
"Speaking of Zeus," Tara says, a playful tone in her words. "Where's your favorite son of the Sky God?"
Theo spares her a glare before flinging his knife and burying it onto the battered practice log. He purses his lips before answering, "He's at the Big House with Chiron, Mr. D, Stiles, and the other head counselors." He clenches his fingers around the blade's hilt when it returns to his hands. "They're talking about a little orientation on New Rome University's scholarships and handing brochures and study guide for the DSTOMP." Theo doesn't bother hiding the acid in his voice from his sister. She'll recognize it anyway, even if he masks it with neutrality. He can't mask it with neutrality.
She quirks a brow, "You don't sound too eager," she notes. "Are you still jealous of Scott, little brother?"
"I'm not jealous of Scott," he says, gritting his teeth. "And don't call me little brother."
"Why are you so strung up, then, if you're not baselessly jealous?"
He finds his reply being interrupted for the second time that day, this time by a distant rumbling coming from the sky. All activities on the ground cease as everyone turns to the increasing volume of an invisible running engine. Theo scans the space above them, at first not grasping anything in motion, until a burst of light reveals a flying, glowing red bus coming down fast to the ground.
🏹⚔️🏹⚔️🏹⚔️
Someone goes to alert Chiron as the rest of them scamper to the landing site by the amphitheater. The bus landed surprisingly smooth, despite its breakneck descent.
"Is that a Ferrari bus?" One of the campers points out.
Sure enough, the logo at the front of the vehicle, a black prancing horse on a yellow background, is of the famous luxury sports brand. But why would there be a flying Ferrari bus at Camp Half-Blood?
"Oh gods," Lori gasps somewhere on Theo's left. "Is that dad's sun chariot?"
As if on cue, the bus door opens, and a teenager who looks about Theo's age exits, wearing what he can only describe as a hipster look. He flashes a blinding grin - and quite literally at that, since they have to shield their eyes momentarily from the glimmer of his teeth - clears his throat dramatically, and announces:
"Hello demigods
The sun landed on your grounds
I am so awesome."
There's silence at first, then a series of enthusiastic applause from Brett and the rest of cabin seven comes next. The teenager bows theatrically, although Theo finds nothing extraordinary about what he just said. But soon, the others join in with half-hearted claps, recognizing the powerful aura suddenly seeping into their skins that could only mean there's a god among them - well, another god, aside from Dionysus, their Camp Director. And with the terrible haiku, there will be no mistaking who graced their camp today. The last time Theo had seen him, during the almost war on his first year at camp, the god had worn the body of a muscular mid-20's blond man. Now, it seems he favors to look even younger despite his four thousand years.
"Lord Apollo," Chiron's voice drowns out the applaud as he trots forward, now in his form as a white stallion from the waist down. "It's a pleasant surprise. Welcome to Camp Half-Blood."
Mr. D isn't as warm. He snorts, rolling his eyes. "Oh, bother, what brought you here now?"
Apollo's bright persona doesn't falter as he gestures at the bus - that is apparently his sun chariot. Theo remembers the time when he almost drove Apollo's chariot, if the Hermes cabin did not snitch it from under their noses, and thus putting three cabins grounded after a severe prank war. He had to take Liam's dish duties and pay him just so his present for Stiles could be delivered in time for Christmas.
"I'm here at the request of my little sister." The god says proudly, as the door opens again, this time with grumbling teenage and prepubescent girls coming out from the bus. All dressed in the same outfit: silver jackets, silver camo pants, and black combat boots, and they carry at their backs a quiver of sharp silver arrows. They glance at Apollo with apparent distrust, standing as far away from him as possible, as the god continues, "To deliver her hunters safely while she's away on a personal errand."
Several demigods groan in displeasure at the news, and even Chiron's lips form a thin line, though he tries to smile through the tension. Mr. D seems to be delighted now, though, happier to see the strange, vicious-looking ladies than his own brother. Personally, it feels like an omen of danger. Mr. D is never happy unless something perilous is about to descend upon his campers - even if his own daughter, Malia, is among them.
"Thank you, Lord Apollo." One of the hunters says albeit she looks physically pained by her words. She stands at the front of the group, a silver ring headwear around her head, with bouncing black curls, a pointed nose, and a strong chin. The other hunters also look at her when she speaks. It's easy to recognize her as the group's leader. "And thank you, Lord Dionysus, Chiron, for accomodating the hunters of Lady Artemis."
Chiron nods at the girl, eyes softening with kindness born out of familiarity, "You're always welcome, Allison."
Mr. D laughs boisterously, then. Like his punishment has just been lifted and he can go back to Olympus and away from the brats, celebrating by getting drunk on wine after years of prohibition. "Well, at least, Capture the Flag this Friday seems more enticing now, don't you think so, Chiron?" He gives a wicked grin at his campers, not waiting for a reply, his change in demeanor promising a torturous next few days for the demigods. "Ready to lose the Camp Half-Blood banner to these little girls for the 58th time in a row?"

2!
Lol here have this I have no idea what I'm doing with this. Hope yall can't tell.
You clenched your teeth, watching as the Avatar waltz through to the sitting room on his own accord. No servant attendant as he stared Zuko down.
The Avatar looked...different from what you remembered or what had been described to you.  He had filled out some, broad muscles swept in golden colors with a heavily beaded wooden necklace with the air symbol carved into it. As if the world needed a reminder that he was the last air bender. You fight to roll your eyes as the roam over his bald head, blue tattoo vibrant in the cast of the afternoon son while his beard was as dark as rich upturned Earth.
"So what do I owe the pleasure of having the honored Avatar as my guest?" Zuko's voice comes out gruff, golden eyes narrowed onto the bald man.
The Avatar returns the glare, his brown eyes reminding you of frozen Earth in the darkest winter.
The tension between the two is tangiable enough that you can taste it.  The fresh breeze being summoned and the wood starting to char beneath Zuko's feet. The Firelord begins to shift his weight for an offensive attack putting you on edge.
The Avatar mirrors the action and both set off a powerful blast of Fire and Air. Just as you're about to move to counter attack the two men burst into a fit of laughter.
"It's been too long, Zuko!" They step into a tight hug separating in time for tea.
"Way too long Aang." Zuko sits on one of the many cushions that lie around the room, broad hand gesturing for the Avatar to follow suit. The young servant sets the tea on the low table between them, Zuko observes the set up with a harsh glare.
"Why are there only three cups?" A tone above a bite causing your stomach to twist. Your teeth sink into your tongue to keep your temper in check, agitated that the man never seems satisfied.
"Uh, your Highness forgive me. I am still new and I assumed you'd serve yourself and your two guests." Her voice trembles as she presses her forehead to the ground, hard enough you were sure the wooden grains would dimple her forehead. On the verge of snapping you step towards the tea more than ready to douse his arrogant flames. Nostrils flaring as you watch him berate her but then your heart catches in your chest when you hear him speak.
"Daiyu..." His voice is soft as he touches her forearm, "You must always remember your own cup, tea was made to be enjoyed in company."
The girl looks up, bewildered.
"Y...your fierceness I…" She clutches at the green silk ribbon that adorns her wrist. Crackling and smoothing the fabric as she tries to refute without really refusing. It's obvious she's a fresh servant from the Earth kingdom. You had noticed that majority of Zuko's helping hands were a modge podge of former refugees from all across the lands.
"It is fine. You may have my cup." He pours her tea first, earning a blush as he presents it to her.
And with a smile no less.
Your heart summersolts in your chest, thumping with questions and anger, all unnoticed to the small party.
It is true you had observed the Firelord over the last six months, most of it arguments and fights between the two of you.  You thought you had him pegged as a bitter Prince with daddy issues and an absentee mother.
But you were starting to question if you had observed closely enough. When she does not take the tea his molten eyes flash an emotion you've never see before.
"You may take it with you back to the kitchen if you think it is against etiquette." He leaves the nature of their relationship unspoken and finally she bows deeply before reaching for the tea.
"Thank you Firelord Zuko." She bows again with tea in hand before exiting the room, softly shutting the sliding door behind her.
Aang chuckles as deft hands pour the other two cups. The Avatar holds onto his tea with a smile, looking after where the young woman stood.
"They still aren't used to a kind Firelord are they?" He takes a small sip as Zuko offers you your tea. You glare at the light green liquid, staring down your own reflection before he half growls in frustration.
"At least sit." He gestures to a pillow beside him to which you plop down on ungracefully after a moment or two. Brown eyes watch you with undying curiosity while golden ones bore holes into your skin.
"I want them to feel more like employees than servants." He address Aang's previous question, "How is Katara?"
A dip in his tone that has your brows furrowed as Aang's voice carries throughout the room.
"Happy and busy as ever especially with two kids." He smiles hard enough he is forced to close his eyes, "And you and Mai?"
A small silence before Zuko chooses to speak the truth.
"We...have chosen separate paths."
"Ah I'm…." A heated hand stops the avatar from speaking. It is clear that Zuko does not want his old friend's pity but it is left unspoken. Instead he shifts their focus back on Aang.
"What of Sokka and Suki? And my best friend Toph?" The scowl is quickly replaced with a gentle smile that spreads across his lips, leaving you bewildered. You had figured he was all angst and rigid but you figured even coins had two sides.
"They are well. We should camp. For old times sake."
"Maybe I'll chase you around for an hour or two." They share another hearty laugh before a flip is switched and Zuko returns to all of adjectives you're familiar with.
Stern.
Serious.
Calculating.
Not...not smiles
And surely not kindness.
A grin washes over your features as you realize his softness can last only so long, you bring the green tea to your lips. Refreshing satisfaction washes over your tongue.
"What really brings you here Aang?" His stature no longer vulnerable, his spine straight and those broad shoulders snapped back. Aang sighs, having wanted more of his friend than his ally today.
"It is your sister. Azula." The tea cup in your hand threatens to snap from that name alone. Rage seeps into every fiber of your being, into your bones as you grit your teeth to keep from speaking.
You needed to hear what was next.
"She's finally been spotted." Steam escapes Zuko's nose for a long moment. When he opens his eyes again it is as if the brewing storm calmed. Head level and clear as he speaks.
"It's time she came home."
But you see the fresh steam billowing from the spout of the tea pot. A defiant smile forms on your lips as you watch the hairline crack in the ceramic form before your eyes.
It's time you tested how well he could keep his temper under control with a guest.
"Bring her home?" You ask, golden eyes snap to you. Your infernal voice one of the few things left on his Earth that got under his skin.
"Surly you don't mean here." You set your tea down, heat radiates from his toned body all the way through his thick robes dancing along your exposed skin.  A shiver runs down your spine from the hint of a fight.
"I think you mean a rehabilitation center. If you missed being called Zuzu so much. I would be more than happy to oblige." A purr leaves your plump lips as his eyebrow tics in tandem with his sharp jawline.
Aang is left to watch the scene unfold with inquisitive eyes, not yet having the pleasure of meeting your acquaintance.
"Uh Zuko who is this exactly?" You glare at the Avatar as the Firelord's heat slowly dies down.
"My name is too difficult for your tongue. I hail from a much different land." You roll your eyes as you sink into the silky pillow. Another glare sent your way as his eyes seem to scream murder.
"My uncle called her Lost Dragon. She answers to that or Jasmine. He tried to name her after his favorite tea." Amber pools soften at the the thought until he remembers who it's about, "Mostly I say you."
"In that irritated tone too?" Aang chuckles and Zuko nods.
"Well I must confess. This is very much…..you." He looks you over before holding eye contact with Zuko, "You may have found your FireLady."
You snap up from your lying position ready to throw daggers his way but the tea pot explodes instead. Aang guides the boiling tea into his empty cup laughing as he's clearly struck a nerve.
"I would never." His voice dips so low and so dark it almost stops Aang from relishing in his now rare moment of igniting Zuko's ire.
The tone does not sit well with you causing you to send an icy glare his way.
"Whatever you say hotman." Fire erupts from Zuko's shoulders.
"Don't call me that!" An infectious laugh rings out before Aang retorts.
"Whatever you say hotman." He covers his mouth before he takes another sip of tea, "In all seriousness those sightings of your sister are rumors for now. But I wanted to tell you in person first."
Aang sets down his cup and stands, looking Zuko in his eyes. He offers a smile that the firelord returns.
"Another day?" Aang asks.
"Hopefully sooner rather than later. And for pleasure instead for business."
They bow to one another fist in hand before the Avatar slips out of the door.
Zuko turns to you stepping almost too quickly as he breathes life into a powerful blast that you dismiss with your own fire.
You both stare one another down for countless minutes before Daiyu slides open the door  The hairs on the nape of her neck stand straight up as she feels the exuding power seeping from the two bodies in the room. She is not quick enough to slide it back shut like she wishes. Neither breaks eye contact even as she struggles to get her message out.
"F..Firelord Zuko, your bath is ready." Another moment passes before he sighs heavily. Steam filling the room until neither can see the other.
"Thank you Daiyu. I shall retire for now." A threat lingers in his voice as you hear him exit the room.
You grit your teeth as your body carries you back out to the large tree in the garden where you've been sleeping. Refusing to sleep in the house of your enemy. You slam your knife into the bark of the tree above your head before you adjust your weight in the branch. Wondering why in the hell the man you respected so much, the man who understood the pain you went through, who apologized for his actions, sent you to watch over some arrogant over grown brat.

"Destiny is a funny thing."  His voice echos in your head as you drift to sleep dreaming of the deep golden color of oolong tea.

Haunted - 1
Tumblr media
"I don't understand! Why can't I come see her!" I whisper yell into my phone. I was at school, by my locker.
Stefan has Vicki back at his place, he's going to try and help her control her bloodlust, and apparently is banning me from coming over.
"I swear you are as persistent as Vicki"
I smirk, "It's a family trait"
"Listen I will call you with updates, just please don't come" I grumble as a response.
"Fine" I say as he cuts the call. I shove my phone in my back pocket and close my locker with anger.
It's bad enough that I'm already lying to every one I know about Vicki, now I can't even see her!
"Alright what's going on?" Said Tyler as he appeared beside me. "I don't know what your talking about" I said as my eyes darted around the hallways.
The school was having a haunted house party for Halloween. Caroline is ecstatic, but after everything that's happened I'm not all that sure I even want to go.
Um..nope definitely not.
"Your taking the pills for insomnia again, does Matt even know" Tyler asked as he stepped in front of me. I looked around to make sure Matt or anyone else was around to hear.
"No, Matt does not know and I'd like to keep it that way"
"What, so what happens when you get another panic attack?" He questions.
"I'm not gonna get another panic attack Ty. It's just...with the animal attacks and Vicki missing it's bringing back some unwanted memories" I explain with a shrug.
After my mom died, I did suffer from insomnia. And it was only because every time I closed my eyes, I saw her face. I didn't want to sleep. That went on for a month or two till I finally got over it. And anyway the pills are just in case.
Tyler sighed, unsure whether or not to believe me. "Fine, but if you have a panic attack you have to tell Matt" I gave him a smile. "I promise"
............
I skipped school to come visit Vicki.
No visits my ass.
I thought as I approached the boarding house. She's my sister and there's no way in hell that I'm not gonna help. I knocked loudly on the door. Stefan opens the door not pleased that I ignored his specific instructions.
"I thought I told you not to come" He says, crossing his arms.
"And I thought you said I was persistent" I say with a grin as I walk past him. "Where is she?" I ask, my voice echoing across the halls. "She's in the dinning room" When he says that I flee towards it.
I'm there in a matter of seconds since I know the layout of this house very well. "Vicki!" I exclaim as she comes into view. She stands up from her chair and smiles.
Her hair falls on her face and she looks like the same old Vicki, well except for the fact that she's now a blood thirsty vampire.
I reach out to hug her and I hold her tight. "I thought I had lost you" I confess as she hugs me back. My eyes bulge out of my sockets as I notice someone else in the room.
Elena.
I part from Vicki and turn to Stefan. "So she can come but not me? Her sister?" I ask him in disbelief.
"She came unannounced" Stefan says trying to defend himself and her.
"I wanted to see how she was doing, wanted to see how much more I would have to lie to the people I care about" Elena explains but there's resentment in her tone. She's angry. I spin towards her with a scowl
"You think it doesn't hurt me? Lying to Matt? I'm doing this for the same reason you are" I hiss between teeth. Vicki grabs my hand, trying to calm me.
"Alright, Stefan why don't we get back to your lesson" Vicki suggests to Stefan. He nods and sits down. I sit down across from him to be closer to Vicki's side.
There's two cups of what smells like coffee and I sit and watch eagerly.
"Coffee is our friend. It's the caffeine. It circulates through our veins, and it warms our body so we're not so cold to the touch" Stefan explains.
"Well, what if I wanna drink human blood?" She asks.
"You're gonna have to learn to live with that urge, and fight it on a daily basis. One day at a time"
Vicki groans. "Oh, God. Don't start with that whole 12 steps thing. School counselor has been down that road, and it doesn't work for me" She says with annoyance.
"It can work. It's your choice, Vicki" He says trying to convince her. "So you've never tasted human blood?" She asks, hitting a nerve.
Stefan tenses and so does Elena. I eye them both, mostly Stefan. He doesn't really talk about how he used to live.
"Not in a long time" He shares. "How long" Vicki pokes again, he's getting slowly irritated by her questions.
"Years and years. I'm not proud of my past behavior" Vicki let's out a noise half way between a groan/sigh.
"Does this sketchy feeling ever go away? It's like I have a massive hangover. And this daylight thing is a bitch" She says, annoyed once more. She gets up and looks at Stefan.
"I need more blood. Where's your bathroom I have to pee. Why do I have to pee? I thought I was dead" She shares, her face scrunching in confusion before heading off in the direction of the bathroom.
My eyes widen a little surprised at her behavior. "I'm gonna go um, I'm gonna get her some more. I'll right I'll be quick" Stefan says as he gets up.
"I'll go with" I say, not wanting to be alone with Elena. I follow him out to the forest but I stay back as he goes in deeper.
"Hey, so, um" I scratch at my head, not really sure how to say what I want to say without my stomach churning. I mean how do you say
"Hey, is it weird that I wanna know who my sister fed on, or killed?" But I guess when it comes to the supernatural these questions aren't exactly a shock.
"Who did, she uh, feed on?" I ask. Stefan's deep in the forest but I know he can hear me. "Fells, Logan" He yells back in response. I shudder. He's probably dead.
I know Damon was there when Vicki ran off. So I can't help but wonder which one of them killed Logan. Vicki or Damon?
"I'm heading back" I say into the forest. I pull my sweater in close. I'm suddenly freezing, well I guess having a vampire as a sister will do that to you. When I step inside and go into the dinning room I gasp at the scene in front of me.
Vicki is holding Elena by the throat saying something I can't quite hear. "Vicki!" I exclaim. Vicki drops Elena and turns to me, her face expression less as she leaves, walking up the stairs.
