The hardest part about being a Star Wars fan is that not only can you not get along with people that have different opinions than you but you also can’t get along with people who DO have the same opinion as you because their REASON for having that opinion is different from yours and their reasons are stupid as fuck whereas your reasons are objectively correct

#like yes ahsoka is my favorite character #no i won't tolerate badmouthing the jedi to put her on a pedestal #yes anakin is my other favorite character and i think he's tragic and complex #no i won't tolerate painting him as The Real Victim Who Was Right Actually or whatever #yes i think the sith and the empire are cool because i'm a villain fan and villains in general are cool #no i don't tolerate saying they're The Real Good Guys and the jedi are actually evil and the rebels are terrorists or whatever the fuck #yes i think mandalorians are cool and their culture and history is fascinating #no i don't tolerate people acting like the star wars equivalent of weebs over them #no i don't like the sequels no it's not just because of FoRcEd DiVeRsItY get some real problems #etc etc etc #like you can't express an opinion without feeling the need to add a fucking essay elaborating on it #to make sure you don't have the annoying people agreeing with you cause you don't want people to think you associate with them #it's a never ending battle #shut up tristan
