just finished a really bad horror novel <3
#the audition by ryลซ murakami.... god what a waste of time#literally kept waiting for something interesting to happen . and then the book was over#like i knew there would have to be a twist at some point cause there's so much setup. but then it turns out none of that was relevant#like there's one violent scene at the end and then that's that. and all the allusions to her mysterious past are just . taken at face value#no i'm pissed for real. this was turned into a movie too. the mind boggles#i wonder how much of it had to do w it being a bad translation (i can only assume given that it's very blunt language)#like maybe it's better in japanese...... but the story itself is so vapid..... Ugh
