day 31: free day piggy back

aka thing i wanted to pose at the start of this month but wasn't brave enough to do :D

i love her so much is the thing,

day 14: dark

seeing the scions drop like flies right in front of her was hard enough. what really made it m'seyli's darkest moment was seeing m'kipfhi fall, and being powerless to do anything about it.

day 7: light

while the more dense woods around gridania take some getting used to, accustomed as she is to gyr abania, m'seyli loves the way the sunlight filters through the trees there.

day 1: introduction

m'seyli, professional big sister, huntress + warrior of light!

she was born and raised in gyr abania, and would have happily spent her entire life there. her mother died not long after the birth of her little sister, m'kipfhi, and while she had no shortage of aunts to make her and her sister feel loved, she's always felt responsible for kipfhi in their mother's absence. so when kipfhi fell ill with an illness that baffled their tribes healers, there was only one option in her mind. she set out into the world beyond her tribe's territory with kipfhi in tow, in search of someone who could help.

day 21: lost

it's bad enough being in a new world totally alien to her. to not recognise her sister? agonising. unbearable.

day 20: town

day 2: home

through all the places she's seen, gyr abania remains m'seyli's home. she's learned to love her wanderer's lifestyle, but her heart will always belong to the place she was born and raised in.

day 5: hobby

m'seyli was never a big reader until she left m, but turns out keeping a very curious baby who demands bedtime stories NOW is a lot harder to do when you don't have a whole tribe's worth of storytellers to back you up, so she has to outsource her tales from somewhere else. she's actually come to enjoy it quite a bit, both as a hobby and for it being one of the only things that can keep m'kipfhi from getting into mischief.

day 3: free day lunch date

getting to just relax in each other's presence is still something of a new concept for m'seyli and krile, so they jump at any chance they get!

day 4: sun

sunny days means water fights with m'kipfhi :3 in which m'seyli never plays fair, despite being significantly bigger and more healthy than m'kipfhi. good thing she enjoys getting soaked.

day 28: adventure

three of them.... finished at last....

day 22: favourite zone

there's a lot of places she loves, but the empty feels personal! she + ryne and gaia worked hard to restore it to what it is today, and she has fond memories of her time with the two of them.

Character Associations: M'seyli Rhel

✴EMOTIONS/FEELINGS✴

Protectiveness - there's a reason shield healing resonates with her so, she's spent the bulk of her life being very protective of M'kipfhi and it's only gotten stronger as time has gone on and she's collected more people she cares about

Affection - this girl is full of love!!! She's a very physically affectionate person and it really doesn't take a lot for her to grow deeply fond of you.

Uncertainty - she's got this in spades, though she's gotten good at hiding it. She never set out to be a hero and she spends a lot of time worrying about not being good enough and not fitting the part.

✴COLORS✴

Red - her favourite colour + one that makes up the bulk of her outfits, plus it's just a very fitting one. She's passionate, she's got a lot of anger, she's ultimately full of love <3

Sandy browns - the colour of home! There's nothing more soothing to her than the cliffs of Gyr Abania.

Yellow - this is more in association with people she loves- it's Krile's colour, it's Kipfhi's colour, it's Hashbrown's colour, everyone she cares about is yellow coded

✴SCENTS✴

Campfires - another one that reminds her of home, and long nights huddled with Kipfhi and their older peers sharing stories around a campfire

Petrichor - though once unfamiliar and strange to her after leaving Gyr Abania and first arriving in Gridania, it's a scent she's come to adore

Chocobos - listen she spends enough time with Hashbrown that the horse-bird-scent just clings to her and she doesn't realise okay!!!!

✴OBJECTS✴

Her red hair bow - though she's retired it as part of her look, it's Iconic. She'll never escape it. It's what everyone thinks of when they think of the Warrior of Light.

Hashbrown's harness - Hashbrown's been on her side for as long as she can remember, carried her on almost all of her journeys. She took the harness with her to the First and Ultima Thule as a way of keeping her constant companion by her side even when she couldn't physically follow.

Her nouliths - she won't be caught without them! Be it for combat or healing, she doesn't want to be without her tools.

✴BODY LANGUAGE✴

Physical affection - she's very rarely not literally hanging off the people she loves. Which is fine when it's Arenvald or her dad, and less so when it's Krile. Nobody escapes her smothering affection, it doesn't matter if they're the size of her boot.

Sitting in places she shouldn't - She's a cat and she's gay, this girl is incapable of sitting like a normal goddamn person.

Hand hearts, peace signs, etc - she's always doing something goofy with her hands

✴AESTHETICS✴

Cutesy! - her hairbows, hand hearts, fat cats, flower crowns, she's got a very strong "cutesy tomboy" vibe going on

day 19: danger

reasonably, she knows that m'kipfhi's been in the first longer than she's been gone from the source. she's not a baby anymore, she can handle herself. that doesn't make it any easier for m'seyli to watch her charge recklessly into danger like that!!!
