tfw you want to find out if it is possible to over water your MASSIVE ufo plant bc it seems to be thirsty all the time and you wonder if maybe splashing some water in its general direction one time a week might not be enough after all (then again it did perfectly fine when you forgot to water it for three weeks so who knows) and every other article you come across expects you to own a moisture meter. Like. Guys. As much as I love my honestly impressive monstrosity of a houseplant that's not the kind of relationship we have.

#about me #yeah i did some research on that instead of writing #and then i came over to tumblr to complain about it #btw #i have a similar approach to my venus fly traps which i had for four years now #and it's still flowering every year and seems to be doing just fine #of course bc I'm not a monster after four years of it going strong I'm considering buying some special soil mix for the poor thing #bc it might need some repotting #who knows #not me that's for sure #but i think after four years everything deserves some kind of upgrade #and in the case of my venus fly trap that seems to be some fresh special soil mix suitable for venus fly traps and maybe a bigger pot #if I'll be feeling fancy that day #okay #that was a joke #i do love my venus fly trap and i think it - or rather they know it #going by how much they've been multiplying #also #my colleagues think it's hilarious that i a (fake) vegetatian (who eats meat like five times a year) owns a carnivorous plant
