1: sexuality headcanon

you know, i have been thinking much of this since starting to work on originsfic!! as you know my central thesis is twofold: 1.) "the arcane order is powered by love," and 2.) "nari is still part of the order, HELLO." i do not...know? if my nari is aroace? i don't think so. i think she certainly feels...content, unpartnered, even as she sees her two best friends equally content in the opposite state. but... hm! you know, i clearly have to think about this more. (what was she doing before getting caught in the fairyforest...?)

2: otp

the fandom is seriously sleeping on narishipping, imo. she's cute! she's made of love! come on, people, i might not have an answer yet but surely some of us do >:V though i suppose i am, again, biased, bc i've experienced some very sweet narroc/narrael in my time (thank u @babblish and @arcaneorderships!).

(now i'm just imagining v-shaped narroc/narrael where skrael and bells are just bros but looking fondly on nari like. 'ah. that's her. that's our horrible necromancer disaster (full romo)" oh no i LOVE /)___(\)

i gotta say, it's cute when she's babysitting toby in hextech, but. yeah, no, i think my answer here is just "the rest of the arcane order " lol

once again: not harshing vibes, bc i know this is popular. but i actually. really. really dislike. what is it called, "magi/cal siblings?" douxie and nari? mostly a platonic ship from what i've seen (maybe romo would be less. Like This) but SO much of what i've seen out there for these characters seems to 1.) completely infantilize her while also 2.) COMPLETELy erasing the fact that... y'know... nari had other relationships before showing up in camelot? it's got some cute potential i guess but the oversaturation + suspect takes in a lot of it tend to put me off. people are wrong about characters on the internet, je telephone à la police.

5: first headcanon that pops into my head

she got into brocéliande (the fairy-forest, the "eternal forest" her title comes from) by wandering through this:

i know this isn't where she comes out though (when bellroc and skrael come rescue her!), but i...haven't actually decided yet where that is 😂

hm. not so much anything she does, but basically every time merlin interacts with/speaks over her i'm just here like 😬 wow, this sure was a choice

PROBLEMATIC FAVE!!! everyone forgets that she NEVER says the order is wrong, only that what they're doing isn't worth it, and even that only once bellroc is hurt 😭 lov this horrible necromancing bug.
