apart from there being a void underneath ghostface’s mask a cool art motif, it could actually have a bigger meaning if it were true in the larger dbd lore
#because. wait let me get on desktop#ok i think danny doesn't really see himself as Danny Johnson or Jed Olsen or any other alias that he might use. i think he genuinely just#sees himself as Ghostface and that's another reason why he gets so angry whenever ghostface is made fun of because thats Him and his#Life's Work and Legacy being made fun of. also because he probably sees himself as the 'True Face' of humanity#given his own POV of what humanity is (stated in his tome). so anyway it would be super cool that when the entity brought him into the real#she didnt bother with his face because to danny thats not his True Face. the mask the ghost face is. thus if he were to take the mask off#there would be nothing underneath. there's no human face there. && i guess it makes sense too with the Larger ghostface lore; anybody can#be ghostface and what's under the mask doesn't matter as much.#mm also i just love the void face art motif happens with hannibal too <3 yum#95
