i keep showing up a decade late to formerly huge fandoms, and on one hand it's great because i miss all the toxic fandom stuff but on the other hand i also miss all the fun art and theory posts.
#specifically this is about gravity falls and pokemon gen 5.#it's like. the fandom equivalent of moving to a route 66 town. this place used to be a real boomtown! but now most folks have moved on and#even though there's a ton of nostalgia from the folks who grew up here the town's actual social life is like. knitting club on saturdays.#ok in pokemon bw's case i guess it's more like. a formerly-popular suburb that most folks have moved out of to be closer to their job#but lately tourists have been coming through because they did a tv special about the historic train station nd everyone wants to see it now#(seriously the pokemon black and white tag is like 70% ingo and emmet)#oncilla speaks#it's so hard to find good content about N almost nobody's making it anymore and i don't know where to find the old stuff :<
