EN.AR Limited, the official sponsors for the Central Music Awards 2023, have honored their promise to the reigning Artiste of the Year, Koby Symple, by providing him with a sponsored trip to Dubai.

This sponsorship package, as promised by Chairman Kweku Etuaful, the Chief Executive Director of EN.AR Limited was dedicated to the Artist of the Year category as part of the Central Music Awards 2023.

This is in reference to the surprise announcement made by the General Manager of Fays Lounge, Norbert Onoman, during the main event night on Saturday, November 25th, 2023.

On Wednesday, January 10, 2024, Koby Symple, the reigning CMA Artiste of the Year, together with Mr. Spio Jungo, the CEO of Heritage Promotions, and the organizers of the annual Central Music Awards, arrived in Dubai.

Koby Symple is in Dubai for vacation, to attend a Music & Event Summit, and to shoot an official music video for his timeless song dubbed “Straight Win” off his “Dear Mr. Symple EP”.

In Anpanman to Ki no Sei Midorichan (Anpanman and tree spirit Midorichan), the woodcutters Onoman and Kogiriman are asked by a pair of Kami to cut down all the trees of a forest and build them a huge house. When they refuse, the Kami just hypnotize them into doing it. A tree spirit, Midorichan, gets injured while the woodcutters are chopping down trees. Anpanman helps when he hears Midorichan crying, and goes to confront Onoman and Kogiriman. They refuse to disobey the Kami, who reveal themselves to be Baikinman and Dokinchan and accidentally break their hypnotism. With everyone upset at them now, the villains tie the woodcutters and Anpanman up in a tree and use Baikinman's gizmos to finish the house they wanted. It starts raining, and because of the drastic change in the terrain from cutting most of the trees, the area floods, sweeping away Anpanman, the woodcutters, and the house. Midorichan arrives with a new head for Anpanman, as his head had been damaged in the rain, and everyone manages to get to higher ground. The woodcutters are very regretful of cutting the whole forest, and with fast-growing seeds from Midorichan they all begin replanting the forest. Meanwhile, Baikinman and Dokinchan are upset about their house being destroyed, but don't seem to mind the chance to sleep under the stars.

一 Have you heard of the Goddess with Two Faces? One of the faces is said to only sing the song of life and the other only speaks words of reason. They seem so different, but their voices always ring in harmony… If you see her, listen closely to what she says. Without those voices, the world would be nothing but chaos.

The streets of Archimedes Ward had begun to buzz with excitement. Outside every window, above every door and hanging from every place imaginable were brilliant, beautiful flowers and plants of all kinds. Against the bleached and worn stone of the area, it made every avenue look as though it had been hand-painted by some great artist from a bygone era with an unmatched eye for classic beauty.

The vivid colors lent itself well to the atmosphere that could only be attributed to another of Spirale’s lively festivals: the Celebration of Life was just around the corner.

The celebration was a special time sacred to the native people that called Archimedes home. It gave them a chance to honor the patron goddess they believed watched over them 一 the Nameless One, a goddess who was said to have both created all things and gave them the knowledge to appreciate the world they had been given.

But those who knew the celebration well understood its focus was not centered around those who yet lived: its main focus was those who had passed on to the next world, only to be reborn later to learn of life again. It was a time meant to reflect on the memories and knowledge they had left with the living and the knowledge they would gain when they met again, and also to give thanks for their loved ones touching their lives and giving them warm moments to hold on to during the times their hearts grew cold.

As was written in Her teachings: The wise know the full value of creation and life and how it cannot prosper without all involved.

Welcome to the first part of our second official event: Depths! We’re really excited to share a little lore surrounding the island. We think you’ll really enjoy it.

So what’s going on?

The Celebration of Life is taking place in Archimedes Ward over the next three evenings in-universe. It’s a little different from the Sunset Festa in that instead of being very high energy and vibrant, it’s a more intimate celebration meant for people to come together and share happy memories and make more of them.

Things to do

That isn’t to say it’s not fun, though! Each of the three evenings has their own special draw.

The First Night -- Light of Life: The First Night centers around the idea of birth. This is celebrated by having large bonfire celebrations in the heart of the Ward, featuring festive folk music and dancing. Musicians are invited to perform on special stages erected around the area and “sing what’s in their hearts” 一 even if it’s a power ballad.

The Second Night -- Reason’s Bounty: The Second Night celebration centers around the idea of the enrichment people receive by having others in their lives and the things people learn from one another in sharing good times and bad. As such, this part of the celebration hosts a massive Ward-wide banquet where everyone is invited to eat their fill, spend time with friends and mend broken bonds over good drink.

The Third Night -- Parade of Memories: The Third Night and the end of the celebration culminates in a mass pilgrimage from the Memorial Garden in Archimedes Ward where the spiritual monuments are built to honor those who’ve passed. From there, participants receive a lighted lantern boat and head to Spirale Municipal Beach. There, those who take part in the parade set the boats adrift into Spirale Bay with notes to their loved ones who have passed on or with wishes of reconciliation to those they miss (similar to how bodies are set adrift in Onoman funeral practices). After their release, many people stargaze with friends and strangers alike and either form new bonds or seek out those they were at odds with to make amends.

Those are the main draws, but there still some festival staples to entertain the masses like fun games and food stands around. During the daytime, people will mostly be working to prepare for that evening’s celebrations, so if your character is interested in volunteering, don’t be shy about pitching in!

It should be noted, however, that there are those individuals who actively attempt to crash all the festivities surrounding the celebration. In the teachings of the Church of Onoma, there is a lot of talk of balance and belief that where there is good, there is also evil. So while these party-crashers aren’t necessarily wholeheartedly accepted, they are anticipated.

This part of the event will last until 11:59 p.m. on 10/24, so make sure you get a starter or reply in before then! You will need to participate in both parts in order to receive credit for event participation.

Of course... There are some party poopers trying to spoil the fun of the festivities. It was expected as per the Onoman tradition, but not desired. Most of them seem to be native citizens, who for some reason or another chooses to take the side of chaos for now.

In the middle of these mostly harmless hecklers, however, there are some beings who seem particularly more dangerous. You can say otherwise, but I find it hard to imagine that a decayed looking animatronic launching creepy looks from the back of the heckling group, especially towards children, isn't a threat to be taken into account.

It looks like this evening's event won't start until they are dealt with, so Battler tries dissuading them - peacefully, for now. "Hey, folks, it's enough!" He claps his hands loudly. "I dunno what you want, but I doubt you'll get it by being assholes!"
