looks at my current knowledge base in technical and broader aspects of my field. looks at my resume. looks at a solutions engineer (sales) job that still pays well and is remote and only requires a degree and a general knowledge base in certain topics. remembers how bad i am at that kind of thing. keeps looking at the listing anyways.

#i am soooooooooooooooooooo tempted #pivoting out of a software dev role seems like it'd be disastrous #but there's no chance in hell that i could get onto a management track here even if i wasn't on the waiting list for being laid off #tbh i don't want to do coding forever. but now's just not the time. probably #anyways submitted some more of the usual types of applications. misery hours i can't wait to take a hike later
