weird thing to complain about but funny how one of the (very,very, very few) replies defending it that i got on my “hey the Hercules live action remakes seems to be a bad idea” viral post was someone defending the remake over the ground of “well at least it will mean we’ll get a version where Hades isn’t voiced by a bastard”, like, on my post, mine. I’ve never watched Hercules in english in my life this argument is completely meaningless to me, try again.

#i've only watched Hercules's scenes in english when i watched video essays about its making #(for the guys who want to inform /me/ that the tiktokification of hercules is okay because 'yknow the original was a critic of influencers!'#(like gaaaasp noooo you don't saaaaay i've never could have gueeeessed)#and a couple of songs at least out of curiosity to see the translation process #and also because I won't say i'm in love is a song i love in both language but hits different in english #growing allergic of people bringing english dubs into my lawn everytime they have something to complain about #tho at least those ARE english production so it has a pass but on this one your thin ice is melting my dude.#post brought to you by 'youtube autoplay brought me back to Hercules french songs and now i'm petty about this comment again'#ichatalks #ichasalty #speaking of which i remember a disney that was criticized because #'the voicecast is mostly popular stars and it's soo distracting it takes you out of the movie so much'#me who both mostly saw this movie in french (and a handful of times in English)#AND who has absolutely no idea who those stars are: k cool.#like this is so funny to me and yet. and yet...
