I'd say Astesia and Astgenne, who are so so much pretty and colorful than the house martins

those tail feathers, in such a beautiful bright blue? amazing and wonderful, especially Astesia's. Cantabile is also a must because she DOES have the superb lyre bird's tail feathers, and they're beautiful

Pinecone is also very pretty compared to her inspiration, the pileated woodpecker, in fact she shares no color with it, but instead her feathers are this beautiful orange/cream/blue? and im in love <3

honorable mentions to Erato and La Pluma, because i am baised for secretary birds and the little crest feathers, and La Pluma has this little blue/green iridescent shine on her feathers like crows

i'll put under the cut cause these ones may not count because it's mostly the birds they are based on, but their designs do not reflect the beauty of the birds very well

HUGE shoutout to Mr. Nothing who is inspired on the lady amherst's pheasant, look at this GORGEOUS MF

that Mr. Nothing's feathers are so dull is a crime, but I guess the little feathers at the end of his braid save it, as they look like the amherst's pheasant's tail feathers

as well as Ceylon, because blue jays are ALWAYS pretty <3 sadly the blue feathers in her hair don't reflect the same blue as the blue jay, but they're still quite pretty in their way
