one of the first things i'm doing when i move out is setting up another rewena bug
#it'd cause. a lot of drama for multiple reasons mostly around racism. if i tried to do that here. but i need a starter for so much stuff#rewena. paraoa parai. takakau (i know this doesn't need yeast but it tastes better with a bug)#anything that needs yeast extract or gluten tbh. also get to use the potato skins in a garden which i also need to set up#also throwback to my alter thinking they were just fundamentally bad at making bread despite trying every few days for over a year#and then it turns out they were making fucking poi and not a rewena bug. so it was obviously too heavy on account on being poi#but now we're really fucking good at making bread because of them practicing and only failing because of the poi thing lmfao#like the bread still tasted great it just never rose
