First time trying drypoint printing by using rhenalon(plexiglass) plates!

It's far from being perfect but the result isn't too bad, since i had a lot of fun i might do more (but that would meen buying the oils, paint and something to actually print; and i'm short on money!).

  1 Plastic sheets. We used .5mm  They are thicker than the plastic sheets used for overhead projection.

Springtime frailty . The past couple of days I’ve stayed home with my cat and two of my favourite people, and have done more experimenting with etching 🙂 I don’t have access to the school press, but I’ve figured out how to pull postcard-sized prints using a Cuttlebug letterpress kit, with packing improvised from folded copy paper and a foam sheet ✨💪 It did take at least 5 tries before I managed to find the right combination of paper, packing, moisture and ink amount 😅 Now to make more designs! School has resumed online yesterday and homework is already piling up though 😹 . Drypoint on astralon plastic (I liked it better than the rhenalon from last time...?) printed with Caligo relief ink (oops, technically the wrong kind...) on Crane’s Letra paper✨ . Fragilité printanière . Ces jours-ci je reste à la maison avec mon chat et deux de mes personnes préférées au monde, et j’ai tenté plus de choses à la pointe sèche! 🙂 Je n’ai pas accès à la presse de l’école, mais j’ai réussi à faire de petits tirage carte postale avec un kit letterpress pour Cuttlebug, en créant de l’épaisseur avec du papier machine plié et de la mousse ✨💪 Ça a quand même pris 5 essais avant que j’arrive à trouver la bonne combo de papier, épaisseur, eau et quantité d’encre😅 Maintenant y a plus qu’à faire de nouveaux dessins! Par contre mes cours ont repris en ligne hier, et les devoirs commencent déjà à s’empiler😹 .
