#shading with fineliner isn't easy

Spaulding's Gas Station! Done with a fineliner in my A5 notebook (and watercolour markers for the sky and ground).

I have regrets about my choice of pen, this is the most complicated thing I've ever tried to shade with a fineliner but oh well

The markers are really cool bc they're very rich and if you wait between layers you can actually achieve a subtle shading effect

I always get too shy to "waste" my markers when I try to use them so I end up never using them ahahahahaha, but yes, that is awesome to hear! Are they of a specific brand? Might see if I can find some here hehe

Also saw the updated/lined version not bad! It might just be the camera quality or how it looks on my screen (or maybe a need for a thinner fineliner for those parts) but the face isn't too easy to make out unfortunately. Ah well, still awesome!.
