I manifest that a boy to come next door and talk with me by the window and sing mere samne wali khidki me ek chand sa tukda rehta hai, afsos is baat ka ho ki even rain came and gone and clouds thundered and poured but usne meri ek jhalak ke liye tarsa nahi.

even if he exists, my dil bhi like, samne jab vo aata hai kuch bhi kehne se darta hai, mujhe sari raat jagata hai is baat ki tumko khabar nahi ye sirf tumhe pe marta hai.

darling, if I was a shayara, kehti gazal tere ada par, khubsurat baat ye, char pal ka sath ye, saari umar mujhko rahegi yaad.

and if you'll ever be in any trouble then you'll say, jab koi baat bigad jaye jab koi mushkil pad jaye tum dena sath mera oo humnava.

I wonder if any boy thinks of this girl like this, jise dhoondta hu mai har kahi jo kabhi mili mujhe hai nahi, mujhe jiske pyar par ho yakeen vo ladki hai kaha, jise sirf mujhse he pyar ho jo ye kehne ko bhi tayyar ho suno tum he mere dildar ho vo ladki hai kahaaa..

Awaari’s ramblings !! 

2020 has been a weird year for all of us across the globe as the global pandemic aka ‘’corona virus’’ has plagued the entire world which has its origins in Wuhan which is a small province in China. 

Specially in India, the period of lockdown has meant various meanings for the writers, bloggers, bollywood, media, TV, digital and other industries .. Mostly me being a writer speaking on entire writer community’s behalf has atypical definition of same .Well honestly during this lockdown I experienced many things which are too normal for us writers to feel and go through on a every day basis. 

I wrote stories, poetries, quotes, shayaris, blogs, scribbles, and many forms of writings which were new for me but i did it. I gave myself much needed self time doing things that i love the most and most importantly spending time with my family as well. 

I did heal myself from situations and people coming and going that made it a poisonous cycle for me mentally and emotionally but I finally did let go of such depressing and worthless things in life by realizing that the people i have right now are best no doubt and they’ll be with me forever come what may.

From a writer’s point of view on behalf of my selected closest writer family and bestfriends i agree that its just a saying that moving on is easy but reality is that ‘’We get accustomed to painful absence in life but we can’t ever completely move on in life’’. ‘’Sunshine and hearts are the silver linings hidden in dazed darkness’’.

The most over used cliche i saw on FB, Twitter, Instagram and TikTok were the youngest generation of today that is nibba’s and nibbi’s getting a sugar and adrenaline rush of sorts by posting silliest love quotes, stories and making videos which were promoting many bad things in our youth where kids aged 14-16 years who weren’t even legal were making lip locking, spooning and romantic love videos on tiktok. Me being a writer was very grossed out by watching such slapstick sappy overused love quotes, videos, memes, stories, videos and what not on social media. 

Also nowadays another disgusting trend I've seen is that 18-20 year old kids on FB and instagram change their bio from single to relationship, its complicated and what not along with changing their surnames and status to married and they think these are bigger life problems then the issues that are going on the world. 

It makes me think that if we writers ever change our status or bio it will be from single to khush hu / aatmanirbhar / sakht awaari / bestfriends ka haq hai mujhpe or nothing at all. 

Also another important survival lesson learnt in this new normal called lockdown is that ‘’Friendships come with their pre decided expiry dates and we should enjoy it till it lasts’’. I am sure people reading this right now will agree with me for they might have gone through something quite similar but don’t have courage to speak or write about it in words.

This is what i think and feel about 2020 amidst corona lockdown ..
