is it really established exactly *what* kind of work henry had been doing in monte d'or? he'd been venturing into the ruins himself for a while, and then delegating search parties, and later on allocating funds for the development of the city once it was established; he also seems to have a strong relationship with and influence on its governing body, even if he doesn't actually work in town hall (people often assume he's the mayor, but he isn't). i always picture him doing lots of paperwork regarding financial affairs and city planning, but i'm finding it difficult to pinpoint any specific, main "job" he does, per se. he does own the reunion inn, and has an office there (though that office was used primarily as a base for progressing the search for randall); henry seems to have a role in presiding over the hotel's operations, as its manager, mordy, performs tasks for him and serves as his aide, so perhaps his main profession is working at the reunion inn? that would make sense...
