#I have an opinion#I will stand by it#Twilight Town is an embarassment of gameplay#genuinely awful level design#with terrible enemies to boot#legit hate Dayzees#it's an absolute running-back-and-forth simulator#plus since it's puzzle-based#it's insanely unreplayable#once you know Doo_liss' name the fun is gone#Twilight Town (along with some other shit levels like Boggly Woods) is the reason I'm not buying the remake#but Doo_liss and Vivian?#those two fucking HIT#Doo_liss as an entire character is amazing#him swiping your identity is SICK#the camera holding on Mario waiting for you to hit something is amazing#Doo_liss' entire plot was handled really well#and he's honestly the funniest character in the entire game#he stands alongside Bowser Jr and Yoshi in my S tier Mario characters#and Vivian?#It's just nice to have her be trans in all translations (heh)#she's a pretty-well executed heel turn and is a direct upgrade from Bow in 64 (and Bow is already the best partner in 64!)#now to tag all this shit#doopliss paper mario#vivian paper mario#paper mario#paper mario the thousand year door#ttyd#ttyd remake
