Shrugging, she leaned forward, closer toward him, as if to emphasize her final point, ❝ Helping my fellow Councilors is never a bother to me, Councilor Van Meter. ❞

No cussing, no pet names... Seth wonders how many more bits and phrases Simone will object to before he's stuck giving her one-word answers. It's a fun challenge, though he clamps his mouth shut and exhales slow through his nose at her second admonishment. I'll follow your instructions, no matter how inconvenient for me... that's what friends do. "No darlin's, no cussing. Yes ma'am." Seth acquiesces with a nod, deciding to push the boundary another way... he scoots up to the edge of his chair, leaning forward on Simone's desk with his bearded chin propped in a palm.

"Alright alright, you got me. I was looking for something. One of my performers was curious about some old university that used to be around here before impact, said her family started it way back when and wondered when it dissolved." It's not a lie - while he was retrieving the files for his Syndicate informant, Seth made sure to check out the records as a favor to her. He's never one to turn down a double purpose, kill as many birds as possible with just a few little stones. "You want me to bother you next time for something like that, I will. Unless you want me to just cut to the chase and ask you out for drinks, huh?"

Ya I don’t think she’d have a laptop, I like the idea of her being such a goofy nerd about analog she just doesn’t like the v i b e of digital next to her camera. I like max being pretentious and artsy.

She keeps pics of Rachel and Chloe. Not necessarily her best work, just moments of them she really loves. And I’d extend this to all her friends and stuff.

I bet she has certain pics where she captured a certain feeling or concept or was close to it, and looks at them when setting up certain shots for inspiration.

I feel like she’d have lip balm, but she’s only started using it regularly after Chloe/Rachel complain about her dry ass lips.

Def a sketch book, maybe she straight stole one of Chloe’s. (I hc Chloe as the more visually artistic with drawings and stuff).

I bet she carries photo props as well.

Just stuff she wants to work into a shot somewhere. She’s got a torn up box of rolling papers, some packets of communion wafers, a roll of shitty film, a plastic switchblade, a teddy bear button that’s a really nice shade of royal blue etc.

She’s also v snoopy and nosey and she’s constantly looking around her and observing the environment, so I’m wondering how to work that in.
