SO!!!!!! WHAT'S AN ANGEL???

angels are stars that were promoted (chess style!!!) after following a long path of many challenges and being deemed worthy by the last angel. the last angel "dies" symbolically and the new angel is her "reincarnation". stars look like female cervidae (DEERS AND STUFF IDK I LOOKED IT UP ON GOOGLE) monsters with typically light hair and once promoted they gain their wings, which start off as a cape you wear but eventually grow into actual wings. stars are born from a monster's hope, every monster has their own star. they're tasked with keeping the world in order and are basically gods but there's so many of them that the angel is the only one that matters. stars can die once their monster loses hope, but angels simply become (...something else i don't know lol) after their job as an angel is done. noelle was chosen as the 27th reincarnation of the angel (they don't "die" often lol) at the age of fourteen and her first mission was to fulfill the last angel's prophecy (a knight will start opening fountains, three soldiers have to banish them and save da world). she descended from the clouds and came to castle town and waited with ralsei for the third soldier to come. so they did silly friend thingz xD lol

sometimes she feels like she's not worthy of being the angel, the other stars deserved this more than her, she doesn't even know how to talk with normal people et cetera et cetera......😖

ralsei took a while to warm up to her, while he did appreciate the company the last thing he wanted was the constant living reminder of why he was alone for so long, so yeag. but eventually they became best friends hooray!!!!!!

he thinks the prophecy is extremely dumb and finding out THE ANGWEW AWWMIGHTY!!! wrote it made him a bit mad because he had to suffer, it made him stronger!!! it was soooo necessary for him to eat only cakes for twelve years because he didn't know how to cook anything else!!!!! it was sooo worth it to lose track of time and lose the ability to tell whether he was dreaming or awake!!!!!!! and now the angel is real too? and she's in his house? and she likes cake? that had to be some sort of sick joke...

but noelle is just doing what she was born to do, she's just following the rules. ralsei had to suffer alone, but it was for the greater good! either that or the world would have shattered!!

they're never going to agree on this, but they can still be friends. best friends forever and always. he was there when she cried about not feeling worthy of her title and she was there when he couldn't bring himself to water those damn flowers anymore. 👌

aside from being the angel (from church) noelle is basically just some random teenager with poor social skills. she likes singing and dancing and being silly and drawing cats (from ralsei's books) and twirling her hair in her finger thinking about the monster in ralsei's prophecy book. eventually she meets the monster from the book and while she expected more chivalry....... she is twirling her hair nonetheless

ralsei thinks she's so cool because she manages to be happy all the time, she likes watering flowers, she likes cake, she thinks repeating the same day over and over is relaxing, she can draw, she can sing, she's funny, she's so cool and he wishes they'd met earlier. maybe if he spent a few more years with her he wouldn't have turned out so tired.

aside from his prince boy struggles he's also..... A DARKNER!!!!! the lowest form of being!!! meant to serve those who serve those who serve angels!! he's kris's (GREEN) horn headband and thinks that being so connected to someone's dreams to the point that you look like their monstersona is almost insulting. they never even came to visit. they left him in a closet just like his kingdom left him in an empty town.

...but then he meets them and actually there's no reason to be mad at them. actually they're so cool. actually they also think the prophecy is stupid. actually they just lost him they didn't abandon him. actually they're leaving again and they think it was just a dream. so sad. he's alone forever in this world.

BUT!! jolly is his best buddy and after their confrontation in the prison floor (jolly wants him to stay because he thinks that if he lets them go he's going to be alone all over again and ralsei doesn't want to spend the rest of his life stuck in one place... again) he's like i have to talk to his parents they are clearly not being good with him. but jesting's so cool how can this be. and then he meets spamboss and it finally makes sense (HE'S GOING TO KILL HIM)

one day both ralsei and noelle are going 2 be happy....... and have tons of friends............... but they have to wait. and eat the same cake again
