wish i was taller . sighhhhhs. i hate being short i have always had such a desire to be a tall skinny guy im trying to kill that part of my brain but its haunted me forever . desire to be tall man.......

delayed at the airport, so now's as good a time to check in as any. i went on a family trip to Belize over thanksgiving that went so much better than i expected. my family are still not people i would choose to spend a ton of time with, but the shame monster didn't rear it's big ugly head and i went paddleboarding for the first time so i'll take that as a win. and then have been working and dancing and not much else.

the new job is still occupying so much brain space, and I'm not sure when or if that will change and not sure how i feel about that *shrug emoji* i like that the days go by fast, and my coworkers are all perfectly nice people, so i'm going to give it the full six months to see if my energy catches up to the new rhythm. that would be the beginning of may, which is coincidentally when my lease is up and i'll be making some housing decisions as well. it feels like i'm setting my life up for something, but i'm not sure what it is!! i've definitely entered some new phase, but i don't really know how to characterize it yet. i also turn the big 3-0 next year, which i've only ever had positive feelings about, so i'm excited for whatever's going to happen over the net six-or-so months, but i wish i was not so so tired! (also not sure if part of that is covid recovery? i'm still only 10 weeks or so out so i'm also waiting to see if that eases up as time passes)

in the mean time I had to go almost 1000 miles past my tiny midwest destination town, and back track via flight and a drive, and the flight is delayed so I get to drive the hours across [redacted desolate part of the country] in the dark which is very much not ideal, but i guess i'm getting paid for it sighhhhh

So TMH is a pop rock album who has (imo) some of the most One Direction iconic songs.

Talking about Albums, I would like to talk about the fucking many editions of Take Me Home we got.

Some new directioners may not know, but it was a fucking pain in the ass to get some limited versions of the albums, and to get special tracks and such.

Youtube was a blessing, yes hahah, but still; having an album was looked up to, but having a LIMITED EDITION? You're basically god.

(taken from personal experience btw, I cant say for the whole fandom because I was not that active back then, only irl and stuff)
