¿La Web de Surrealismo? Somphong Adulyasaraphan (1947 -)

Somphong estudió arte en la Universidad de Silpakorn en Tailandia, pero después de graduarse le resultó difícil ganarse la vida pintando, por lo que se convirtió en fotógrafo, haciendo conjuntos de moda y fotografiando la naturaleza y el paisaje para revistas y otras publicaciones. A través de esto, logró ahorrar suficiente dinero para poder pintar sin tener que preocuparse por financiar y vender su trabajo. En su juventud pasó mucho tiempo en Dusit Zoo observando el comportamiento de los animales y luego estudió reptiles en la granja de serpientes del Queen Saovabha Memorial Institute. Él dice de su pintura: "No tengo mucho trabajo para mostrar porque mi proceso de trabajo es relativamente lento, en parte porque uso pinceles pequeños para obtener los detalles finos y en parte debido a mi mala vista. Una pintura grande puede tomar casi dos años en completarse".

* Tấm ván phóng dao của Nguyễn Phan Linh Đan được mời tham dự La Fabrique tại Cannes

Nữ đạo diễn trẻ Nguyễn Phan Linh Đan vừa thông tin dự án phim Tấm ván phóng dao (If wood could cry, it could cry blood) của cô được mời tham dự hoạt động La Fabrique tại Liên hoan phim Cannes. 

La Fabrique là hoạt động do Viện Pháp và Cinema Du Monde tổ chức hằng năm trong khuôn khổ Liên hoan phim Cannes. Năm nay, La Fabrique chọn 10 dự án phim tiềm năng đang trong giai đoạn phát triển kịch bản, là phim đầu tay hoặc phim thứ 2 tham dự chương trình.

Ngoài dự án phim Tấm ván phóng dao, các dự án phim còn lại đến từ Mexico, Nepal, Ukraine, Ấn Độ, Ai Cập và một số nước châu Phi…

Tham gia hoạt động này, các đạo diễn trẻ có cơ hội gặp gỡ, giao lưu với những nhà làm phim, các nhà tư vấn hoặc các nhà đầu tư tiềm năng cho dự án.

Tấm ván phóng dao là dự án phim độc lập đầu tay của Linh Đan dựa trên tiểu thuyết cùng tên của diễn viên hài Mạc Can. Trước đó, dự án này đã nhận được giải Arte Kino cho dự án phim đang phát triển tại APM của Liên hoan phim Busan năm 2021, và dự án được mời tham dự South East Asian Film Lab của Liên hoan phim quốc tế Singapore.

* “Gương mặt lạ” DJ Thái Lan Matoom lần đầu ngồi ghế cố vấn Người ấy là ai?

Trong tập 2 của Người ấy là ai?, phát sóng lúc 20h tối 27-5 trên Vie Channel – HTV2, Vie giải trí có sự xuất hiện của gương mặt lạ DJ Thái Lan Matoom. 

Matoom tên thật là Techin Ploypetech, sinh năm 1990 tại xứ sở chùa Vàng. Sau khi đi du học cấp 3 ở Đức, DJ Matoom trở về Thái Lan học Trường Silpakorn University Bangkok và tham gia hoạt động nghệ thuật diễn xuất, MC… được nhiều khán giả Thái yêu thích vì ngoại hình đẹp (cao 1,9m) và cách nói chuyện dễ thương, hoạt bát. 

Anh cũng từng khiến khán giả xúc động về câu chuyện của chính mình khi tham gia Người ấy là ai? phiên bản Thái.

Nam DJ đã không giấu được niềm háo hức và hồi hộp khi lần đầu đến Việt Nam. Anh mở màn chào hỏi cùng MC Trấn Thành bằng cách nói tên gọi của Người ấy là ai? bằng tiếng Thái Lan và trổ tài đọc tên chương trình bằng tiếng Việt. 

Bên cạnh Matoom, dàn cố vấn tập 2 Người ấy là ai? còn có siêu mẫu Minh Tú, nam ca sĩ Trọng Hiếu và ca sĩ Hari Won. 

Nữ chính xuất hiện trong tập tuần này là Thùy Linh – 27 tuổi, chuyên viên trang điểm. Tập 1 Người ấy là ai? sau khi phát trên YouTube đến nay đã đứng vị trí số 1 các chương trình được xem nhiều nhất, với trên 4 triệu lượt xem và gần 5.000 ý kiến nhận xét.

* Đoàn Hồng Trang diện áo dài lụa quảng bá Hội An

Trước thềm cuộc thi Hoa hậu toàn cầu 2022 (Miss Global), Hoa khôi miền Trung 2016 Đoàn Hồng Trang tung bộ ảnh thời trang áo dài chụp tại phố cổ Hội An.

Đoàn Hồng Trang chọn thực hiện bộ ảnh áo dài tại Hội An vì muốn giới thiệu đến bạn bè thế giới địa danh được UNESCO công nhận là di sản văn hóa thế giới năm 1999.

Cô chọn diện các mẫu thiết kế áo dài lụa vẽ của nhà thiết kế – nghệ nhân Trung Đinh với mong muốn tôn vinh, quảng bá tà áo dài Việt cũng như nghề thủ công truyền thống lụa vẽ.

Đoàn Hồng Trang sinh năm 1995, tại Bình Thuận. Cô sở hữu chiều cao lý tưởng 1,73m. Số đo 3 vòng lần lượt là 86-60-92cm.

Dự kiến, Đoàn Hồng Trang sẽ đến Indonesia ngày 31-5 để tham gia cuộc thi Hoa hậu Toàn cầu 2022. Vòng chung kết sẽ diễn ra ngày 11-6.

* NSƯT Chí Trung nghỉ làm giám đốc Nhà hát Tuổi Trẻ từ 1-6

Bộ Văn hóa, thể thao và du lịch vừa có quyết định bổ nhiệm NSƯT Nguyễn Sĩ Tiến làm giám đốc Nhà hát Tuổi Trẻ thay NSƯT Chí Trung từ ngày 1-6.

Week 2

In this second week of the semester, our regular performance class took an exciting and unexpected turn. Jazz performance students from Silpakorn University in Thailand joined us. It was an incredible experience to jam with these musicians I had never met before. Despite the geographical and cultural differences, it felt as if we were all speaking the same musical language.

One of the most significant takeaways from this week's class was Andrew's discussion on the importance of being sensitive to silences or spaces in music. He pointed out that accomplished musicians can play on upbeats or with minimal notes while still allowing listeners to feel the pulse of the tune. This concept intrigued me, especially as a drummer.

It made me reflect on my own musical insecurities about leaving spaces in my playing. I often feared that silence might cause me to lose the tempo or the groove. Andrew's insight made me realise that in order to play around with silences, I needed to honour every single note placement when I played, regardless of the number of notes involved. This notion of precision in my playing, even in the midst of silence, is a skill I am eager to develop in the coming weeks.

Moments before I happily delivered the opening remarks during the 2nd Edition of the Listening Biennial Symposium (Manila leg). The symposium embarks on a journey of exploring the art of listening and its ability to give and forge ecologies of attention.

This year, the symposium revolves around the themes of community and connection, drawing inspiration from the concepts of barangay and kampung. In these concepts, coming together and forming a community is not seen as a mere task but rather a deep commitment to fostering meaningful connections.

Congratulations to the UP College of Fine Arts and the outgoing UP CFA Parola Gallery Curator, Dr. Dayang Yraola, for organizing this year’s Listening Symposium. Coincidentally, the UP CFA Department of Studio Arts has recently introduced a new sound art course, which has sparked immense interest among students and faculty members. This exciting development not only showcases the dedication to exploring diverse art forms but also signifies the establishment of stronger institutional relationships with other esteemed Southeast Asian universities. It is also worth mentioning that UP CFA has an MOU with Thailand's Silpakorn University and the Multimedia University of Malaysia.

Promwarin Amatayakul, nascida em Bangkok, sempre viveu uma vida muito simples e cotidiana. Sempre teve amigos o suficiente para poder se divertir, mas não o suficiente para ser super popular e sempre teve notas boas, mas não boas o suficiente para ser considerada um gênio. Já teve vários hobbies, enjoando de cada um depois de um tempo e nunca realmente se aperfeiçoando em nenhum.

Ao se formar no ensino médio com 17, prestou para várias faculdades diferentes e acabou entrando na Silpakorn University com 18 para conseguir um diploma em Administração de Empresas. Não porque se interessava muito em administração, mas porque não sabia muito bem qual curso escolher e acabou decidindo que talvez fosse uma boa ideia estudar algo desse tipo.

Em 2019 começou no mundo do trabalho estagiando no banco Citibank e, com sua experiência, conseguiu uma vaga de RH no neobanco multinacional Dernier em 2021. No comecinho de 2023, foi parar na Coreia do Sul a pedido da empresa para trabalhar no escritório coreano da empresa e auxiliar a equipe de lá e agora vive lá fazem poucos meses.
