Y'all I do not even know how to describe the level of small town gossip going on at my workplace right now, there's this asshole landlord going through a divorce that he is quite literally plastering biblical quotes about on giant CalTrans signs in our town, and some shit's going down between him and the Starbucks and y'all everyone is so here for it. If this man ever leaves town, there will be so many celebration parties.

#small town gossip is fucking next level y'all #do not ever move to a small town if you are not prepared #one of my favorite stories about the smallness of my town comes from my family friend/neighbor/former teacher #it was early in her relationship with her husband who grew up here and he invited her as his +1 to an event of some kind #cant remember if it was a wedding or a funeral or what but she grew up in georgia went into the military and spent a while in nyc #so she was like 'what on earth do i wear to this event?? like what is the appropriate dress atire for a small town event of this caliber??'#i think it was a wedding #anyways her husband went and asked some people back here what they thought she should wear and they asked some people and got back to him #so when the event time finally comes they pull up into town its her first time here its a new relationship she only knows him #and she gets out the car on main st to go into the venue and someone walking by stops and looks her up and down #and goes 'that's perfect. good job.'#and this was just over an outfit #do not. EVER. move to a small town without being prepared
