#remy.txt#a patient's parent complained about me today for the stupidest fucking reason#so basically a student asked me to tell the patient's parent that the pt can't be treated with laughing gas it's not working on her#so she'll have to go for dental treatment in an OR#this pissed the parent off for some reason and she later on went off on the student like#'why is your receptionist telling me what to do' and the student is like 'that's not a receptionist that's a doctor...'#so the parent is like 'ok but she's rude and never smiles at me!'#who the FUCK are you lmao i've never seen you before in my LIFE ???#i'm dressed a bit differently today in that i wore a blazer instead of my lab coat but.#you best believe if it was an arab there in a blazer she never would've mistook them for a receptionist#not that there's anything wrong w being one. but people here will literally assume brown ppl are anything but doctors#i have been called nurse despite being in my lab coat and scrubs. and there's nothing wrong w being a nurse ofc but. i'm not one#i'm a doctor. i studied hard to be one. its not asking too much to be addressed as such by patients.#fucking hell. on top of that fb gave me a notification for my grandpa's bday and. well#it's not like i can call and wish him huh.#n e way.#just gonna go home and sleep ig i hate today
