I'm not super pleased with how it turned out but, oh well. Posting anyways for accountability or whatever. If this is looking a bit different from my previous sketch, it's definitely not because this is the 4th try. No sir. That would be ridiculous (🥲). Something something perfectionist vs self-doubt.

It's been ages since I've attempted to do a proper watercolour, and drawing faces is really not my strong suit. So this was A Challenge. But I was determined to post it anyways, if anything to see some future progress.

Is it good? Not really. Could be worse? SO MUCH WORSE. The previous three (3) are appaling and shall never see the light of day.

okay wow hi, anon who talked about horimiya, wow thats crazy so after i sent it, i basically stopped rolling around tumblr for a good while and just about a week ago i began coming back again and funny you just now replied to it haha. thought you had replied to it already, nice to see while coming back and you just now did.

okay it was a bit exaggerated maybe, but i did see a fair amount of reviews who were completely disliking it and just throwing hate at it, cant recall why, because its been a hot min since i finished it. dont wanna read too many reviews either because i get sorta influenced by people and then i feel like i need to lower rating score and shit and its a mess.

yea i'd agree with you, but it doesnt have to be perfect to be likeable, i think. was the manga similar to the anime btw? im currently trying to read the manga i have and then may move onto the stuff i dont have, which'll be online!

oh dont worry!! is all fine, take your time, theres never a need to rush with anything. im sure if someone sends you something, they most likely will come back to you after you replied.

So, after your ask i got a bit curious and actually searched for it to kinda understand a little.. i guess? But then i remembered another reason why i try not to read reviews and it's exactly as you said, i can read something and be like "ohh now that you mention it you may be right" or stuff like that and the way i see or understand things starts to change a little (which i don't know if it's bad or not but sometimes you can't help it 🤷🏻‍♀️).

And yep, I'd say the anime was similar to the manga but i totally recommend reading it, the art style is beautiful and it has details and extras that weren't in the anime (as always 🤭) that you can't just miss, they are just too cute and sweet to not know about them 🥺 aaaand if you read it feel free to come back and tell me your favorite parts (*˘︶˘*) also, which manga are you reading? if i may ask, for research purposes 😌
