WIP!!! SORRY FOR TAKING A WHILE...

For the past few days, I have been unable to bring myself to drawing and posting artwork, even worse, class is coming VERY SOON, so I have one other thing I'm willing to post for now besides this WIP. I'm not really sure if I can continue working on the TLTIV AU as my interest in Project Arrhythmia is slowly declining, which isn't good because I only got to completing the designs for Nano (they're called Trinity in my AU btw) and Jestar so I'm kinda upset about halting the AU while it's THAT incomplete. I'm not really feeling the best in general so please don't expect me to post that much after August.

Anyways, onto the topic! There will be hints to TLTIV Jestar's past (and light redesign). I'll finish the drawing digitally! (Don't mind the Aveline drawing in the background, it's a draft of her redesign that led to her ref sheet that I've posted a while ago)

Here’s my feelings about Cale’s hit on Jared McCan as an Avs fan and someone who loves Cale Makar a lot: it was late and inappropriate. I cringe every time I see the clip because it’s just brutal (especially seeing a clearly hurt player 😵‍💫 makes me feel sick). It was late and unwarranted, even if Cale did so under the assumption McCan has the puck, he hits numbers. I don’t know if I’m crazy but I swear there’s like a saying in hockey where if you see the numbers you don’t hit them because this is what happens. I’m kind of shocked that the penalty was a minor (2 minutes) instead of a major (5 minutes), because I think a major was more fitting tbh. I think Cale is having a hearing with the DoPS today so we’ll see what discipline they hand out and I think I will be OK with most of the outcomes. Even a suspension. It’s bad conduct and should be discouraged in every way. It would be unfortunate to lose one of our best players for the upcoming game or remainder of the series, but that looks like the scenario for the Kraken themselves. It’s just a horrible and unfortunate situation.

team canada sweatshirt?

in 2010 my mom was on a very rare business trip to canada and got a Team Canada (olympics edition) zip-up hoodie which she later gifted to me, because i am, despite what everything else about me may indicate, a hockey lesbian at heart. i hate team canada (SPORTS) with every fiber of my being for complex petty reasons* but i LOVEEEEEE women's hockey in all its forms and one time i wore this exact Team Canada hoodie to a USA v CAN game and 1. hilary knight (HILARY! KNIGHT!!!!!!) fistbumped me but i wore it for shannon szabados and i said so in a tweet and shannon szabados liked my tweet abt her and i'm actually, i've been a ghost this whole time because at that moment i went to lesbian heaven body & soul. my dad's from detroit and let me listen to siouxsie and the banshees as a kid growing up in the 90s so you can clearly see** how i would end up being both gay and weak for women goalies, esp underdogs.

all that to say: i have a team canada sweatshirt and mostly i'm gay about it but i also enjoy in the last 2 years that it has an added mcyt layer. lesbian hockey ethoslab moments? or whatver
