Ingo gets mechanized, like you said, but runs away from the Mechs because he is still mostly sane and still has a problem with recreational murder, even if the person getting murdered is Jonny, who deserves it.

He finds a planet that has recently had a complete overhaul of society, and during the revolution a lot of skilled workers got got due to sympathizing with the oppressors.

Many of those skilled workers worked with trains.

Anyway Ingo = Lyf, but instead of being a low level transport police officer he's the head of the station, he is SO pissed that Marius and company found him again. People freak out a bit less about the prisoners never aging because like. Ingo Also Does That, And We Love Ingo. However they do still freak out about the crime. That's a reasonable thing to freak out about.
