still absolutely iconic that Charles the MOMENT he arrives in town. sees this man waiting for him at the town entrance, mutilated and covered in blood yet looking the most gleeful he's ever seen anyone. and decides not only to get out of his car to meet him but even flirts with him some. then just a little bit later he hears that man describing what he is doing in the current moment on the radio as it's happening. and hears him continue to flirt with him while doing so. and this still doesn't concern him. then even later he attends a speech the guy does that is culty as all get-out and ends with church members under his command physically grab anyone who's not down with it to forcefully pull their lips into smiles. and Charles's response to this is to then call him, compliment his homiletic skills, and ask him on a date. then even later they meet up for their date and Kevins wearing a fur jumpsuit that all the blood and gore aside you KNOW he's sweating up a storm in in this desert heat so hes got all that soaking into the fur. and he takes him to a restaurant that's main meal is probably human meat. still no reservations about this! Then he goes back to Kevin's house who we know canonly decorates with gore so that place is yucky disgusting. and not only that. they fuck. and Charles doesn't back out because NOTHING that night had been a turn off nothing has made him go hm maybe not. and on top of that he Spends the night there and has breakfast (well, coffee) with Kevin the next morning. insane behavior!
