Might actually be able to make the surgery happen in less than a year which would be cool in terms of like getting it over with and moving on with my life but also. Well. I don't know, arguably a longer wait time is also worse for my generalized surgery/anesthesia fears since it gives me more time to stress/talk myself out of it. But on the other hand aaaaaaaaaa

#self-actualization through email #surgeon with the shortest wait time also apparently does some thing that means you don't need drains? not sure I fully understand this #would be nice though. also just best-looking results of the ones I have looked at with a reasonable time frame #(I am not spending 2 YEARS on an OHSU waiting list thank you)#I feel like there is going to be some sort of catch. This is all too easy #But like I do know that a) barriers to access for transmascs are generally lower #and b) I live in one of the easiest states to get transition care in #I'm just worried I'll find out at the last minute that insurance won't cover the surgery after all for some reason #and medical debt will ruin my life. Would suck!#I just realized I still haven't mentioned any of this to my dad. I should...probably do that #I'm supposed to go to his wedding in July and I will definitely sound different by then if nothing else
