Levi as a Chicken Farmer HCs

[author note: guys omg- honestly if it makes y’all happy I’m glad to be writing for you 😭😭

Levi lost a lot after the whole rumbling tragedy. He lost all of his closest friends, so yes, he too is using chickens to cope.

He doesn’t like cleaning up the coops of chicken poo, he always scolds them while doing so.

He’s got seperate coops for groups of chickens omg- he’s got the Levi coop (consists of chicken!Petra, Oruo, Eld, and Gunther)

There’s one called the survey coop, (Chicken!Erwin, Hange, Nanaba, Moblit, Miche live in that one)

He has no mercy for his chickens’ eggs omg, he literally just eats them if he wants, yes the group’s terrified.

One time Armin and Mikasa came over and watched him collect an egg from one of the coops and cracked it open right in front of them-

He likes to have Chicken!Hange in the house, she likes to sit on Levi’s lap and he strokes Hange like the chicken was a cat.

He hates smelling like chicken poo, so he takes a shower AT LEAST TWICE a day. He just cannot tolerate the smell of it, it’s too stanky.

He hates plucking feathers out from his clothing, he hates them and he has a trash can specifically for the feathers. (He uses some as a quill?—)

He’s probably the type of person to name his chickens Hange 2.0 if the first one dies, or like Erwin Jr.

Omg pls one time he caught someone kidnapping his chickens and they ended up leaving his home with a broken nose and a dislocated arm-

In a way he considers them his kids?? He only lets levi squad 2.0 touch his chickens.

BEACH DATE WITH LEVI:

he hates the fact that you’d pick such a dirty place to have a good time at, (he’s just salty that it’s sand-)

he learns to like it the longer he spends it at the beach, he likes the fact that he can just lean back on a chair and watch you play around on the sand.

he won’t let you near him, that’s all. Well maybe if you wash in the ocean, but then again, he hates the smell of the beach, he doesn’t like the salty smell of it. he says he can taste it and it’s weird-

now if it was more of a beach resort date, then of course he’ll like it a tiny bit more, genuinely because you guys get a clean room and have a proper bathroom. 

I think you guys would choose those resorts where there’d be clear roof so you can look up. 

he’d probably nap, not sleep but, he’ll get there, baby steps :)).

You guys would sometimes stay up pointing out stars and random constellations you made up.

he got sand in between his feet and he almost wanted to end it all that moment, he was so mad. He doesn’t enjoy the grittiness of the sand so he angrily washed his feet.

You guys probably had a dinner date at night at the beach, picnic kinda vibe?? You had no intention of drinking or being drunk but you guys ended up a little tipsy after the night.

From what I heard, you guys probably made love that night— well, you guys did the do almost every night. It’s not any week you guys get away from taking care of a bunch of teenage children. (*ahem* jean and eren *ahem*)

you guys probably have a habit of watching the sunset when you’re at the beach resort. You just can’t help but watch with your wonderful boyfriend how the sun comes down and the sky turns to midnight.

In the end of the whole date, you guys go home feeling relaxed and basically feel like you’ve gotten closer to levi after spending a week with just him and you.

Levi won’t admit it, but he found a seashell that he made into a necklace for you. And gets embarrassed whenever you tell someone that it’s from him.

guys- I headcanon that in a modern au, All the vets live together and they don’t have a smoke detector and everybody asks about it, and all they say is:

Random Person: hey, why don’t you guys have a smoke detector?
