IM SCREAMING ALREADY I ONLY READ THE EPISODE TITLE ALRIGHT OK SO IT BEGINS TODAY, MY DEATH guys I am so pumped for the S Class focus thats about to begin with this episode like from here on out they become main players in the series and asfdbfhirksvfjkevfsnjkvfnjek how is it legal for ONE SERIES to contain SO MANY FAVES. Anywayyy Before I get started I’m actually wondering- this is the 7th episode of the second season… do we know how many episodes the season is supposed to run for? S1 only had 12 i think. I’m… I’m not even close to ready for it ending. Now that they’ve introduced Orochi, I’m not even sure where a good break in the plot would be?? Random concerns aside, lets get to the episode. As always, I’m watching this as someone who has read the manga and web comic to date

Noting also the music there totally gave me flashbacks to the Darkmatter Thieves invasion for a split second and that sequence in general was really well done I like how they emphasized the suckers sticking to the concrete and everything- it have the monster a lot of weight imo. Of course the studio would be fools to not give Tatsumaki the the utmost respect like that sooo

first of all. it was SNOWING AND FREEZING ALL DAY. i'm surprised we all survived. kyo tweeted right after the show telling us to be careful going home and not to catch a cold. he CARES

THE SICK MAIN SET (REAL SICK)

- i was in front of toshiya as usual... halfway between both kaoru and kyo lol. i got pretty close considering my # - they opened with. get this. BUGABOO. I LOVE BUGABOO. it sounded REALLY cool and sinister and just ugh i love uroboros. - kyo was really on point tonight. just something about his voice idk. it was like richer than usual? it really showed in the ballads. idk he was just hitting these notes and o m g - toguro was gorgeous as usual. it's my favorite song off uroboros and was my #1 favorite song for a long time. there's this one part that's like. you guys know. when kyo is singing but without words and it just gives you CHILLS?? yeah. he hit that 100% perfectly. actual goosebumps. - i was surprised to hear magayasou for some reason but it was sick - ok i heard glass skin and i was transported back to tour 2008 the rose trims again except the atmosphere in japan is way different from in the us. in japan, because of how the audience acts, it feels like a quieter song. it was really beautiful. - CAN WE TALK ABOUT V I N U S H K A - THIS SONG IS SUCH A JOURNEY. I FORGOT HOW MUCH I LOVE IT. OK. the energy from the band was incredible during this song especially every time the tempo/tone of the song changed. the slow parts were beautiful and the faster parts were so intense and toshiya and kyo just kept provoking us to scream and headbang more. - that one line. "koko ga shinjitsu da". everyone went silent for a second, suddenly there were bright yellow lights on kyo, it's like everyone held their breath until he said it with this incredible emotion, and then the venue exploded and everyone just screamed and screamed and screamed. chills. - i LOVE what they did with inconvenient ideal. after vinushka parts of sa bir played. on the screen was a the burning outline of a circle that grew and grew and looked like an eclipse before the flames dissipated. while sa bir was playing this just ethereal choir started singing, and then it switched into the organ intro from the unplugged version of inconvenient ideal. kyo sang, then before the chorus started, the song stopped and changed into the album version of the song, and they went from there. - this was probably the part of the show with the biggest impact for me. i just love what they did so much. - then GAIKA. i want everyone to love gaika as much as i do. it's SO intense and SO fun and there's great parts where you can just go crazy and ughhh - then REIKETSU! this time they didn't play stuck man -> reiketsu but it's totally okay. WHAT A FUN SONG!??! everyone was jumping and kyo jumped along too and it was so fun. - last song of the main set... revelation of mankind!! mode of arche please

then ENCORE - kukoku no kyouon!? tbh i kind of love it when they walk on stage for the encore and everyone's LOSING THEIR MINDS and suddenly a slow song starts and we all go silent. it's just a really great effect lol. really wonderful performance. i spent a lot of time watching kaoru. - red soil is creepy and wonderful and i love it - STUCK MAN. I FORGOT. HOW FUN THIS SONG IS. everyone is just jumping and dancing and kyo has us sing along and it's just awesome. - sustain is always great because i love sing along songs and kyo totally does too - last song... UTAFUMI. YES. FALLFALLFALLFALLFALLFALLLLLLL. i got to witness kyo's hyper speed punching. every other time i've seen this song live i was looking at someone else LOL. the freeze in the beginning is STILL SO COOL.

WHAT WERE THEY WEARING?? - kaoru was wearing this low neck black shirt w/ his usual black cardigan and LOOKING GOOOOOD because you could see his chest piece wahahaaaaaa. his hair is shorter and it looks so good. i wish i could show you. he looks so great. and he wasn't wearing any lipstick or anything this time. he had black eyeshadow as usual and then... blush. a whole lot of red blush. i stand by every cosmetic decision you make, kaoru. he wore the same thing for the encore. - toshiya wore a black jacket & white shirt then the tour hockey tee for the encore. couldn't really see shinya but he had a white shirt as usual. die was wearing a sleveless shirt (?) with a scarf then the tour hoodie. then kyo. ok. - for the main set kyo was wearing... how can i describe this... a long sleeve black top, but most of the front was replaced with a panel of fishnet fabric. on top of that he was wearing harnesses over his chest. twitter is right it kinda does look like a bra, as in the bra style harnesses LOL aaaa and also black skinny pants but they didn't close? like the top was open? and was held together kinda with a belt on top. and he had more harness action happening around his thighs & a strap connecting his legs. i'm into it. his hair is black with that crazy haircut and he had a ton of makeup and i love it. - for the encore he took off ALL his makeup (FRESH. AND. BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!) and wore the same pants with a white tshirt (with a black design... i'm sure twitter has already found the exact shirt) with a simple harness on top. - tbh during the mains et he was this like OTT GOTH VISION!!!!! and then during the encore i think i fell in love again lmao

ASSORTED THINGS - kyo laughed at some point during the encore. it was adorable. i love... feelings... he smiled a lot tbh - the way he screamed NAGOYA was amazing. it was drawn out. i love him. TAUNT US SOME MORE. he also was hyping us up a lot and as usual got the back to scream, then each side, and then for the center he didn't say anything. he just SCREEEEAMMMED like a fan would. - toshiya is SO MAJESTIC and FULL OF POWER. I DONT UNDERSTAND HOW SOMEONE CAN BE THAT PERFECT TBQH - after the show toshiya tossed a bottle to the fans in the front. i just saw it out of the corner of my eye but it was brown. some kind of. alcohol lmao - WILL I EVER CATCH ANYTHING - kyo clapped a lot and mouthed "Bye bye" and left, the rest hung out for a while throwing picks. i received water from kaoru, toshiya, shinya, and die. 4/5 nice - i love how kaoru will act like he's saying things during the show but he's just moving his mouth lol. he looked like he was kinda lip syncing along. CUTE

uroboros is one of my favorite albums of all time but seeing it live now gives me a new perspective on it. i think they’ve improved on it somehow. everything sounded richer?? the atmosphere was so good, the flow of the setlist was so good, it was just a wonderful experience.
