Stone Mountain, GA – Car Accident with Injuries on US-78

Stone Mountain, GA (February 12, 2020) – Around 6:18 p.m. last night, February 11, a car accident with injuries took place on US-78 in Stone Mountain.

The accident allegedly took place when multiple vehicles collided in the eastbound lanes of the highway in the area of Rockbridge Road.

Paramedics were called to the scene of the accident, which led to injuries. The extent of the injuries is not known and police have not confirmed if parties were hospitalized.

One lane of traffic was completely blocked for a period of time. There were tough delays in the area for several hours last evening.

Police continue to investigate the circumstances of the accident.
