women's worlds update, angry disabled person edition: we drove around downtown utica for nearly 15 minutes looking for the accessible parking because there was NO signage and of course the cops were no help. we still didn't find any because the closest parking lot that wasn't blocked off had one single row that was fully taken, so i missed puck drop and the first ten minutes of play AND had to walk all the way around the building even though our seats are closer to the entrance we weren't allowed to use WHICH WAS ALSO WHERE THE ACCESSIBLE PARKING SPOTS WERE. then when we finally made it around to the front of the building there was a parking lot with open accessible spots right in front of the door that was barricaded shut because it was next to the fuckin "world championship village" or whatever the hell that was. oh and now i'm in ridiculous amounts of pain from all the walking and i'm dehydrated and lightheaded because we couldn't bring in our water in.

I have watched a LOT of Canada vs USA hockey games over the years and I don’t think I have ever seen the officials allow these teams to play as physically as they are tonight. It’s a breath of fresh air to watch a game between these two powerhouses that flows so quickly without the constant start and stop for penalties. This is how these athletes WANT to play and it’s so great to watch.

About Lisi Hazer

Lisi Diane Hazer (Pronounced Leesie)

born October 31st 2004

Lisi's hair is dark brown and about halfway down her back. She also has whispy bangs

She's almost 5'6 with a pretty muscular build

Currently a freshman at the University of Wisconsin but is considering transferring to Boston College

Her older brother is currently playing with the Montreal Canadians and has been family friends with Cole Caulfield from a young age.

She has an older sister as well that played in the world juniors 7 years prior. Lisi also has a younger brother who is 9.

Lisi's dad is a retired NHL player.

She was named captain for the 23-24 world juniors season because it is her 3rd season on the team.

Lisi is terrified of what she'll do after college because pro women's hockey isn't a very reliable career.

She is an insane workaholic always at the gym conditioning or on the ice for practice or studying.

She does like to have fun with her teammates but she is more of the cool reserved type looking out for her teammates.

She has known Will, Gabe, and Ryan for awhile now always seeing them at camps and the combine. (They are friends just not very close)

She gets extremely annoyed in interviews when they ask her about guys instead of hockey.

She is kind of the spokes person for Team USA just because she's so poised and she can be really professional (ehehe this will be fun)

Random Fun Facts:

She's always very sleepy

She love's sweets and is very anti-crazy healthy diet

She wears headphones everywhere (especially before games so people can't interview her)

She persuades people SO EASILY

Will randomly talk to Cole on the phone to check up on her brother

WEARS THE COOLEST PANT SUITS AS GAME DAY FITS

Tries to make sure that no one can see how stressed she is

Always smells like vanilla and sandalwood

Tradition of eating a pb&j before games

Wears contacts but hates them and hates her glasses even more lol (If she doesn't have a game she's most likely walking around blind)

HAS A BICEP TATTOO

The most kept secret about her is her favorite NHL team and player lol
