mie. do u have any thoughts about how gojo would be during his s/o's pregnancy with the Twins?
Part of me wants to say that he wants to keep the pregnancy a secret for as long as possible—save for, of course, your close group of friends, and even then you two decide to wait until you start showing. Satoru isn’t a doctor, but he was listening very intently to the words of your physician when given the rundown of the typical stages of pregnancy and what to expect from twins—and while he stayed calm and enthusiastic for your sake, he was quite literally petrified with every new piece of information he learned. What really got through to him was that your mood and environmental stress can and will affect your babies, so Satoru’s main priority is making sure you’re as happy and well-taken care of as possible.
If he could stop you from working the moment you found out you were pregnant, he would. He might not fully understand the complexities of what’s happening to your body anatomically, but what he does know, and can help with, is your mental load. He will basically do anything to ensure that the next nine months are nothing but complete bliss for you. Weird craving at two in the morning? He’s on it. You’re feeling sore? He’ll massage it. You’re feeling like you need a change of pace? He already has a small vacation booked. You’re upset because the movie you wanted to watch isn’t on Hulu or Netflix? He buys got subscriptions to Peacock, Paramount+, HBO Max, Disney+, and Crunchyroll just to be safe.
If you thought he spoiled you before, it’s nothing compared to this. And the twins get the exact same treatment when they’re born—after all, Satoru already had drawers full of baby clothes and shoes and bows and bottles with their last name engraved on them the moment they were born. A nursery built from scratch (and with the help of Kento) because Satoru’s going to teach his kids young that they—and their mother—deserve nothing but the best.
