I know I've made this post before but it is literally so wonderful that I work in a place that has an enormous number of books for children about self soothing and feeling your feelings so that when I am extremely emotional at the end of the day I can read a nice book with beautiful illustrations that encourages me to feast at the buffet of human emotion. wah

#that is a direct quote from rachel vail's new book sometimes i kabloom which i just read and sobbed about #her other book sometimes i grumblesquinch was a favorite from last year 😭#unfortunately everyone loves my current favorite soothing book (everything is in the world by kevin henkes) so its always checked out #but god. i am so happy for babychildren that have all these wonderful books. and also all the silly ridiculous ones #BIG WEEK
