#tlok#the legend of korra#legend of korra#amon#noatak#many of those scenes only make sense if amon is secretly waterbending imo#the first two gifs:why would amon stand there to risk being killed by korra's icicles if he was a nonbender?#the fire one: all the equalist mooks were taken down by korra's blast of fire but amon was there looking cool#he was above the ocean there was plenty of airborne water for amon to bend without being noticed#the resisting bloodbending one is pretty obvious lol#plus there's how katara resisted hama by bloodbending#if those were accidents they were pretty fortunate ones#if those were on purpose kudos for visual foreshadowing#i also loved the reveal of amon's identity on itself#he was first revealed as someone who had been victmized by firebenders#but his real past was an abusive dad who lost his bending and wanted to live vicariously through his children#those backgrounds were very different from each other but had a key similarity - bending-related trauma
