i'm part of the community notes community on twitter and i feel like i'm making the world a better place one helpful/unhelpful rating at a time❤️
#'you've rated this note as unhelpful' that's enough activism for today i think#it's what i do the most i haven't written one yet (it's been like a month of me being in i applied maybe in december or january i don't#remember) mostly because you have to like link an article sources and i'm lazy and also the tweets i see that i think need to be fact#checked often already have a proposed community note#but yeah i'm always saying unhelpful because the shit people try to put as community notes? so crazy#some of the ones that make it to tumblr are funny and that's not how you're supposed to use them but if i think it's funny i'll give them a#helpful rating but like basically people will just put mean things they would have said in the replies and everyone else will be like no#note needed + say it in the replies + you're an awful person + kys#like thank god i'm here to prevent people from seeing the things awful people want them to see presented as 'context'...#i'm biased too i can't lie i'm only human i have a political agenda. sometimes#the way it works is people who've disagreed before need to agree that the note is good/trustworthy enough to show it to everyone not x#amount of people need to think it's good which isn't a bad system i think it makes sense#and like i say: brf slt
