what's a normal amount of phd programmes to apply to
#on my list for this autumn is 7 applications to 5 institutions#then possibly other places in europe but those tend to have spring/summer deadlines so i shan't think about that until then#surely i have to get in somewhere......#i had to get over my hatred of the un*ted k*ngdom because unfortunately they do have some banger astronomy grad programmes here#sick and twisted that they have tuition fees though
