It's always so very strange to me that some people seem to think I want Ganondorf to not be a war criminal and do nothing wrong and be little uwu baby when... like, I know people often don't follow the fanwork produced by a given blog and it's completely cool and neat and fine, but.
In Descant, not only do I explore some of the horrible stuff he does, I'm *adding* war crimes. I'm like, making him more indefensible.

Sending this because I cannot remember if I sent the other ask or just thought about sending it, but I've realized, writing the Faron section, that I have no idea what to do with the first visit to Lanayru in the role reversal AU.
I have no plans for that part, but I probably should come up with some.
In case I did already send this ask at some point, since my memory is an unreliable narrator at the best of times, uh, chapter 5 update: Zelda has met a goron, Link has woken up from a nightmare, and Ghirahim has made his wondrous return without actually showing up.

Oh boy chapter 5 sounds good already!! Ghirahim always finds a way to worm his way into stuff even if he's not actually there lol
and hm.. i dont remember getting another ask similar, but then again tumblr was weird today, and sometimes won't show me asks unless im on desktop and i have been on mobile all day... so oops, who knows what happened dbdjndd
and uhhh... huh. hadn't thought that far. hmmm... well, in canon it seems Impa blocked off the temple so Ghirahim wouldn't go in, rather than to stop Link, so I'd guess she'd do the same if Ghira's after Link? So Zelda would probably have to do that dungeon. And after that, well... I think the Gate of Time needed the ballad of the goddess to activate maybe? at least from what we see when we walk into the temple in Lanayru and find Zelda singing in front of it/when we use the song to get the blocky gate in the sealed temple. So if Zelda got there around the same time Link does in canon, they wouldn't really have time to activate the gate and run to the past to hide maybe? and could potentially get separated again to escape from Ghirahim... or if Impa and Link had activated it already, maybe they all run to the past to escape from him? but it'd be like running in circles because theyd have to get out the same way, since Link(?) would have to upgrade the sword to open the other gate.. though very technically he could do that in the past? but that'd be an entirely different can of worms to dig through so idk nekdkdkjdjdkz
